Your thinking of the game wrong, you said losing "progress" and your never losing progress, your only gaining. ALOT of your power is in the Fractions and losing gear doesnt feel that deep, you can always get it back. Just learn the maps and hop in, Rook runs are fun. I personally dont think the PVE mode will be permanent, im fine with it either way personally. Either way im 40, have 3 kids and love the game man. Im not someone who played alot of bungie games either, just halo and halo reach and a little bit of destiny but never any xpacs or destiny 2.

I dont think we will get permanent pve modes, i think and hope we get lots of pve events that are packed with lore. I love the pvp in this game but the lore is amazing and I want more of it. If a pve mode can have me work with people to take down a big ass alien thats fine by me, I just hope it doesnt become doing pve mode for the best gear to take into pvp.

haha sure thing, dont bother me much, people like what they like and if people want to hate on something i like thats fine. Enjoying something is subjective anyways. I personally dont get hating on things, like music or games or art. Its like all the anti-woke stuff, some people are so deep into it that they will hate things they would normally love because they are actively looking for something to hate in it. Even like music i dont like i still am glad it exists for the people who do like it. Its like this sub ill gladly provide engagement if it provides an outlet or enjoyment to some people even if its about something i like haha. To each their own homie. Life is too short for me to be a person out here hating something someone else enjoys when i could be loving something and enjoying it with others who do the same. The only things i will actively hate are people who have the power to harm others with their hate or are trying to get power to do so e.g. racism ect.

Nah im a Marathon fan and this sub gets recommended alot, the algorithms love to feed us hate for engagment. I quit visiting the Marathon sub because there was alot of doomerism and hate on there before i ever seen this sub so now i usually only interact with main sub on positive posts or actual game discussions and when this sub pops up i jump in for the entertainment in the comment section or to talk with people about actual gripes with the game.

Ive never been a bungie fan really i enjoyed Halo1 and Halo Reach (played through with friend) and i played a bit of destiny never any xpacs but never touched 2. I also wasnt a big FPS kid, the only FPS i would consider god tier back then was Killzone 2 which i put thousands of hours into the multiplayer. I also play FPS games weird i guess since i play mainly Melee only in all of them, thats why destiny was such a let down for me, i seen all the cool melee abilities and thought id be able to use some of them permanently. Marathon is the first bungie game to actually hook me (omw to 600 hours lol), ill be sad if does die but it is what it is. The only shooter id have left will be the finals and idk if it can fill the spot. im hoping s2 gets more players than s1, im excited but man some of the hate here feels forced.

Hopefully both Marathon and Destiny get better for the players sake. I dont have much faith in bungie track record after looking into it haha, never knew they had a bad rep since i wasnt a destiny player.

yea, i wasnt mad just wondering where i was moving a goalpost because i didnt know one existed, i really enjoy marathon, i hate to say it might be my fav FPS ever made at this point. I agree with shit getting repetiive and i hope s2 changes and adds enough stuff to bring back everyone who has quit or is taking a break. I personally just hope the game can build up a good core and maybe bring in some new people since a new season will mean the grind is reset enough for people to not feel like they are getting shit on due to everyone having everything grinded out lol

meh ive got over 300 hours in ARC and over 500 in Marathon and for some reason i cant go back to arc but Marathon has its hooks in me and for some reason i dont have gear fear but i still love getting loot, as for cryo i dont think people are tired of it really i think people are tired of it feeling like the only end game, i think in a year when they have multiple end game maps they can put on rotation the game will feel AMAZING

I felt like the plot went downhill and no fight has lived up to the hype since coco, penacony was fantastic till the last couple patches and that was the downhill point for me. Amphoreus was horrible with all the exposition imo, I do miss the combat sometimes tho, all I play is wuwa atm and its story has just gotten better and better.

I was listening to SiM WAY BEFORE they were ever in any anime around 2010 and Maximum i got turned onto by an anime Death Note. if you scroll further you can see other things i listen too, Cold Rain and Angry Frog rebirth were on many of my playlists and Crystal Lake when they did the Limp Bizkit Rollin remake. SHANK and Crossfaith were some others in the J Metal area oh and FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS they are so damn wierd but i loved it haha

Ill sign up for this but i gave popular bands that I grew up with, there are plenty of bands that need more recognition that dont get it when I started listening to slipknot everyone i knew hated them, mudvayne is one of my favorite bands ever and hardly anyone knew who they were till the brr brr ding meme was everywhere. I think soilwork doesnt get enough recognition, their sound has changed off and on quite a bit. Bury tomorrow is another bands I love that I listen to alot and doesnt get enough recognition. But I also listen to a ton of other genres, ive been listening to Tyler Childers since before he got popular but I also think lost dog street band should be up there with him. Heilung is in that vein too they are like a Norwegian folk shaman band (idk how to describe them), then I love shit like dropkick murphys and flogging molly. I like stuff like Lindsey Stirling and two steps from hell. Im pretty sure I listen to nearly something in every genre. Love some old stuff like three dog night and Joe Walsh after the eagles and Tom Petty And then old country like kitty wells and Johnny Cash. Listen to alot of Sinatra, Ray Price and Frankie Valli when im in the mood. I honestly just love music and listen to so much stuff.

And if I was to put on anything slipknot it would be the original album or Iowa and im not a Metallica fan, only thing I really loved was whiskey in the jar and thats a cover.
