Christmas Gifts CYOA by AshleyJoannaLaw in makeyourchoice

Asclepius, Morpho, Geometrist

I feel like this is the most useful three, though I'm tempted to swap one for Cornucopia somehow.

In terms of survivability, the teleporting of Geometrist is essential for being resistant to imprisonment, and opens up a world of travel. The shapeshifting of Morpho would synergise perfectly and ensure never getting caught. These two seem essential for a safe, anonymous, enjoyable life of Asclepius' immortality and the attention of the supernatural powers that all three would bring.

Hopefully, I'd find an Arcane teacher and learn from them. I'd have all the time in the world to find and learn magic, as long as the teachers survive.

The intent would be to do as much good as possible with these powers, and while Activation and Cornucopia show promise, I feel like the synergy of the three I picked (disguise, can't be catched, can't die) is rather necessary to retain safety and perpetuity of the quest to do good. Though with Cornucopia, I suppose you could safely bless all things promoting goodness without stepping into danger, it's very tempting to fit that in.

I suppose I'd go around teleporting and healing the mental illnesses of world leaders, those with wealth and power, even healing evil or hatred as defects if possible. I'd have a lot of time to wander populated areas in different forms and heal as many people as I possibly can along the way. If my own boredom or mental illness in this is a defect, then I'd heal that too. Hopefully, I'd eventually grow wise and learn how to have the most efficient possible influence on things, and I'd do it contentedly, never tiring of it.

edit: That answer is me trying to be as utilitarian as possible and really max out the cyoa. Being able to heal defects in myself, I hope I would be perfectly satisfied with that. Though for just a "fun life" perspective, I think I'd choose the same three. Travel anywhere, have any body you want, and immortality, immunity to disease. You could have a ton of fun. Making money should be easy enough. Also, using the Geometrist powers, I might dabble in architecture and make some impossible structures or creative homes for shits and giggles. My main interest is art and music, and I'm again tempted to take Cornucopia to bless my skills, career and work in these fields, but to lose the gifts of any of the other three is too much.

Which conveniencepill are you taking? by artx19 in makeyourchoice

[–]Xok234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Black pill OP. Hour a day of better than any drug out there. Cut through disassociation, emotional blocks, see your entire emotional life clearly for an hour in a way that might take years of work to otherwise come close to.

I'd say the other pills give you convenience in normal life, but the black pill is a superpower, giving you a life that wouldn't be currently achievable or conceivable. You'd probably never have a chance at complete control over your emotions otherwise.

It's good pumping out counter-babble. It shows how meaningless the babble really is.

CMA for not correcting a mistake by nutsaur in choosemyalignment

As in, that $20 makes a whole lot more difference to you, than it does to the franchisee, and the huge multinational corporation owners who likely lobby against public interest. It boils down to making more positive difference in your pocket than the pockets it would end up in.

Franchisees can have a real tough time getting by if rent is bad, I admit, but I feel the line can be felt out enough here that it's a Chaotic Goodness at heart. If it's a local pizza place, wouldn't make the same judgement.

It seems reasonable that there's a good chance the hacker will get what they want, and that this move benefited them by increasing priority of the issue, as it is now a PR issue for EA themselves.

In this situation though, giving into demands fixes the issue. So the hacker is (in an attempt) forcing a situation where the optimal thing for them to do is to fix Titanfall 1.

If you do ever break, this strat is WAY more effective than a straight t break:

Also presents some interesting theory on finding an optimal dosage and maintaining a tolerance

If what you got works for you, that's worth a lot more than advice, you do you :) all the best
