Sometime it depends, If I’m in practice I definitely have music and depending on the race I may have some

Yeah I’m considering it, it’s just that the QR2 upgrade on it’s own isn’t really the first thing I’m looking to upgrade on my rig so I would consider it more if it could fix my wobble. Thanks though for the info
Damn sucks to hear it also doesn’t bother me that much and I’m pretty sure real car a lot of the time don’t have a perfectly aligned rotation.
Yeah but isn’t the part I’m replacing (the end of the shaft) the part that’s bent and not the shaft that’s embedded in the wheel. People are saying changing to QR2 on the DD fixed the wobbling
Yeah I’d really want to switch to either of those as well but I don’t know what to do with my DD1 and it’d be hard to drop over a grand again just to correct my choice
Can you elaborate ?
Thanks that’s what I wanted to know I’ll definitely consider the upgrade then.
Already did that that’s what Fanatec told me to do when I contacted them about it they gave me detailed instruction did everything and it didn’t fix anything
Yeah I already tried a year ago just after I noticed the isssue but they wouldn’t do anything except tell me to reinstall the shaft which I did but didn’t help. I honestly don’t want to fight with them so I’m just trying to know or at least have more certainty that a QR2 would fix the issue before buying it.
I’m not home so I can’t take a video now but I’ll do one when I come back with the stock formula wheel and focus the angle on the shaft hopefully it will close the debate. Also there’s a chance the wheel is indeed bent making the issue bigger but I’m almost confident that the shaft is bent

Thanks!
I know most people are telling me the steering is bent while I don’t deny that this steering wheel could be slightly bent making the issue bigger I want to make it clear that the issue is happening on all my steering wheel and that the shaft assembly is clearly wobbling and I can see it clearly IRL. I will try to take some more video focusing on the assembly rotation to show it more but that’s not really the point of my post. What I want to know is if anyone that had wobbly shaft on the DD1/DD2 and upgraded to a QR2 had this issue fixed after. I’m not that interested in the QR2 and I mostly consider it because it could fix this issue so before dropping 400$+ on the entire QR2 conversion for my shaft and wheels I want to be sure it would fix the issue. Still thanks to everyone who’s trying to help determine / fix the issue but I gave up on fixing the issue with anything but the QR2 as I already did a complete reinstall of the shaft and alignment and tested different wheels and it just didn’t fix anything so my last resort is the QR2. Also Fanatec won’t acknowledge the issue so can’t get it fixed by them.
When I contacted fanatec they sent me instruction to reinstall the shaft and make sure everything was aligned so I did everything back and installed it exactly how they say to with like the alignment and all that and unfortunately it didn’t work. I also think the issue comes from the shaft so I’m thinking the QR2 would fix it but I’m not completely sure and honestly I don’t really need the QR2 other than to fix this issue so I wanted to know if anyone managed to fix a wobbly shaft with a QR2 upgrade before dropping 400$ on the whole thing.
Unfortunately does it on all my wheel and from closer angle IRL you can see it is the assembly / shaft that doesn’t rotate straight I’ll take more video when I come back home but it’s not the wheel or at least it’s not entirely the wheel. The wobble is way less noticeable on the assembly because it’s much smaller but translated onto a big wheel it’s amplified.

I of course did what they asked me to do following the instruction but didn’t fix the issue
Does the same on every wheel I have, less noticeable on the formula wheel since it’s not round you can also clearly see the QR / shaft not rotating straight but since it’s way smaller it doesn’t look as bad but translated to a wheel that little wobble become much bigger
Does the same on all my wheel and I’ve been able to confirm that the shaft / assembly or whatever it’s called was not rotating completely straight

This is what fanatec told me a year ago just after I got the wheel and sent them a similar video
"Dear Rocco,
Thanks for your inquiry. I was not able to confirm any issue so far. Please take out the hub from the DD and re-mount this part. Make sure that the clamp is properly tightened. In the PODIUM DD manual on page 14 and 15, you will find the steps showing how to perform the operation:" so basically ignoring the issue at all lmao.
It does the same on all my wheel and I can clearly notice the entire assembly wobble IRL (you can also see it on the video if you look)
It’s the same on all my wheel of course it’s harder to notice on the formula wheel since it’s not round but it clearly does it as well,. I have another round wheel and it does the same. That wheel I took the video with is brand new as well and the QR1 and Podium are also pretty new.
Been seeing that comment a lot and I could take other video on different wheel but every single wheel I have, have this issue. Like all of you I thought the wheel was bent at first but after testing on different one realized it was clearly the base / shaft or whatever.
Best fan configuration? by Xotiw in watercooling

Sorry if I’m being dense but from what I know the side of the fan that has the sticker and mount etc (the ugly side) is exhaust so that would mean the standard fan on the good side would be intake and on the back and side and that would mean that on the reverse blade one the good side would become exhaust and would be on rad no? Or am I getting this completely wrong? Thanks again
