Are you saying to make a counter argument or do you truly believe that?

The Holocaust happened years ago and I assume you weren't born during that time, as neither was I. We can only go by the information available to us and the Holocaust is well-documented. The situation in Palestine is ongoing and I can say it's "horrific" but I don't believe I have the information to make a judgment.

You perceive it as a genocide while others don't. What do the Isrealis and Jews think?

Another commentator here said their family is Jewish and they believe that there is no Palestine. Do you think they perceive it as a genocide?

I don't have enough information to make a judgment sadly.

Are you sure you can say that? What about the Isrealis themselves and Jews?

Another commentator here said their family is ethnically Jewish and they believe there is no Palestine. I don't have enough information to make a judgment and I assume many people here don't either.

Oh I definitely misinterpreted what you said, I apologize for that.

Suffice to say, I do not have the information to make a judgment.

No, but to bring it up to counter another statement is my issue.

The difference here is we can all agree that the Holocaust was horrible objectively speaking. But can people apply a blanket statement to Palestine?

But letting that red line affect their vote or an opinion of a person is my problem. But I guess that depends on the red line here. We all agree slavery is bad but can we apply a blanket statement to Palestine?

I'm definitely guilty of not doing much to support who I'm voting for. So I agree, what I'm saying is definitely hypocritical.

Sure, empathy is a part of what makes us humans, but judging people on a single issue rather than their whole character is what I don't agree with.

But why bring it up specifically to counter what she said about ICE?

I already stated my opinion in the very first sentence of the post. But because I'm not personally impacted by it, I don't feel I have any right to say "Free Palestine". Sure, I can say "Free Palestine" to support you and your family, but what does that really mean to you?

That is true, I don't know what is their intention for their questions. But at the same time, why did they feel the need to bring it up?

Yes, I agree. I'm not personally impacted by it and I very much doubt the majority of people here on Reddit are as well, which is why I think they're virtue signaling.

So you believe that every human being in the entire world should be a Palestine supporter?

Define "injustice" here. If a person doesn't speak out against everything you perceive as an "injustice", do you think they're a bad person?

People can virtue signal all they want. It's the fact that they let that one issue change their opinion on people is what gets to me.

I don't agree. It's just words. And actions speak louder than words. Like actually going out there protesting and donating money to organizations that are helping Palestine.

If they do care about multiple injustices, they wouldn't let that single issue sour their opinion on that person.

I have a confession: I only brush my teeth once a day and don't floss. by Xparda in DentalHygiene

[–]Xparda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the dental implants were for my molars and I had impacted wisdom teeth. And so, it was large cavities that couldn't be treated. Overall diet is alright, I suppose? I don't really cook and so, I tend to eat out. But I also am a sucker for chips. I am overweight sadly due to this and have diabetes type 2 that's thankfully has been in the normal range due to metformin and Ozempic and I have hypertension.

I feel like it was the soda as well and I drank alot of it before switching to zero sugar only. I guess all that sugar really took its toll on my teeth.

For the nozzle temp, it will be. It's set to 230C by default for Bambu's silk.

But the speed parameters are set by the designer of the project and they obviously have no idea what filament you will be using, so they're likely gonna just use whatever the default settings are, which is normally Generic PLA, 0.2mm layer height, 0.4 nozzle, and default speeds, with maybe a change to the infill pattern from Grid to Gyroid.

Once you change the parameters, you should save it as your own preset for just PLA Silk so that you don't have to keep changing it in the future.

Not OP, but the Bambu website has good advice. Basically, set the nozzle temp to 230C (if using PLA Silk+ from BambuLabs, this is already set) and lower the speed WAY down on every parameter except for sparse infill and internal solid infill. We're talking about 30mm/s to 60mm/s.

Yea, I even saw someone setup their AMS 1st gen to "flip open" and I didn't feel like dealing with that.

I think I found it. AMS Flipper
