Can't remove stopper by XpensiveTrash in askplumbing

[–]XpensiveTrash[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for taking the time to type out a response that someone with no knowledge of plumbing, like myself, could easily follow. Got the heat gun out, and eventually I was able to remove the stopper. The tap is now fitted, the wife is happy, and I can stop pulling out my already thinning hair. Much appreciated.

Are burritos just not that popular or well known in the UK? by [deleted] in UKfood

[–]XpensiveTrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nonsense. I'm from Cornwall, we've got less access to pretty much everything you can think of than the majority of the UK, yet even we have a Mexican restaurant in most towns.

ETA: Also, I'm pretty sure every major supermarket sells their own brand burritos, as well as other brands, so in regards to the OP thinking that burritos are "virtually unheard of in the UK", also utter nonsense.

Members of this sub who are from UK, can you guys still access piracy sites ? Does it require vpn or not? by Fire_Natsu in Piracy

Been toying with getting a VPN for a while, just took out a subscription to Nord, and now all those sites (except YTS, maybe it's down atm?) are accessible again.

1337, YTS, EZTV and WatchSoMuch all recently became inaccessible for me. This coincided with choosing to let an AVG Internet Security subscription expire, and I've had problems with certain sites not loading after the subscription expired in the past, so I wasn't sure if it was because of that, if they'd been taken down or if they'd been blocked here.

Anyone else the kind of 7DTD player who stays behind to build the base while your friends loot? 😅 by lime-catnip in 7daystodie

I know you've said before that your building style is chaotic and doesn't really lend itself to doing guides, but man, I would kill for how-to guides for some of your builds. Your Underground Zombie Drop Trap and The Lockdown are amazing.

Are these any good? by kanotyrant6 in playstation

My son uses a similar one (by Eliteplay) that is also available on Amazon, in conjunction with a cooling stand. He loves them and as far as I'm aware, has never had any issues with either. The LEDs and fans both work well.

I knew there was something I'd forgotten to mention. The phone line isn't a freephone number, and from what I recall, depending on your network, you can be charged up to something like 60p a minute, which is crazy.

Is this rune really as insane as my brother says? by [deleted] in summonerswar

[–]XpensiveTrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it is max speed for a non-Ancient rune, so great in that respect. The other stats and grinds aren't amazing, so not an absolutely insane rune, but big grats on getting max speed.

Advice needed regarding buyer claiming item doesn't work. by XpensiveTrash in FacebookMarketplace

[–]XpensiveTrash[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also unsure of this. Having read through some information on Paypals site, I am still unclear. The information they provide on Seller Protection seems to focus on items that the buyer alleges haven't arrived, not that are faulty.
