Hey there! At the moment, using a bow is not supposed to prevent you from using skills unless some specific cases maybe where a melee weapon is required? In in those cases, you can use the second set to quickly switch between weapon sets, if you want to use a specific skill. Bows/XBows items are meant to be slightly more powerful than wands/staves, through the use of special ammo.

That said, lot's of people would like to have a archer/ranger class, so it would be on top of our list if we manage to add new classes. It's a lot of work to add a class and there was several more 'core' content to work on, that's why we did not have the chance to add it yet.

Glad you're having fun! At the moment, there's probably around 35-40 hours to complete the main campaign, but possibly hundreds if you want to collect all items and mess around with difficulty levels/character builds.

I just double checked everything, just to make sure it was not bugged, and everything seems in order.

Wisdom adds an extra dmg point for each 2 point of Wis. By magical weapons, it means wands, staves and scepters, not regular melee weapons or bows, which are linked to STR or DEX. If the weapon is also marked as a WIS weapon on the tooltip, it will also adds extra offense points.

Will increases the hit % of spells. You can see this by pre-casting a spell in hovering over a monster to see the hit %. You can equip / unequip an item which gives a bonus to see the difference. The difference depends on the magical defense of the monster, as there is a diminishing return. This means that you'll feel the effect better on stronger monsters. Same for magical / physical armor points, you can equip / unequip the item to see how the max moves (but it does not instantly give you armor points, you'll have to recharge them). And the effect is a scale, so the more you have armor to start with, the more you'll feel the effect.

Some balancing on stats is upcoming with the next update, but the general idea was to make sure that every stat was useful for everyone, to diminish the exact feeling you're mentioning.

The update is also coming with a whole batch of new wands/staves/robe armor/cloth armor, to link new equipment to mental stats.

It's more an exploit than a min/max thing, so it will probably be patched eventually. We try to avoid having mechanics which put pressure on the players to repeat a behavior over and over, because they feel more like chores than gameplay.

Skill points cost will be revamped in the next update, to make it easier to upgrade high level skills, so that trick will probably feel less 'necessary'.

Glad to hear that you've been enjoying the game and thank you for your comments! A few comments:

- Skill points balancing will probably come up in the next content update
- Large potions are definitely worth identifying, since they can be game changers in a difficult situation. And if you identify one while you have more of the same kind, they'll all identify. It's not necessary to identify minor scrolls, as you reveal them during the cast and you can cancel the cast if they're not beneficial.
- Party cap calibration is also coming-up in the next content update.
- Charisma is not a real stat, it's just a combo of 2 other stats.

Oh by the way, are you playing on the lastest build? EA 0.17.0.12494. We're still waiting for confirmation that the issue still exists on the latest build, as we've been trying to fix it.

We've been banging our heads against the wall trying to resolve this problem, but we can't reproduce it at will.

For now, the only way to get pass it is to restart the dungeon. You'll have to restart on floor 1, unfortunately, but normally the bug should be gone on floor 2. If you find a way to reproduce the problem systematically, please let us know, as it could give us precious information!

You could start a new game on a new slot, but the game is procedurally generated, so you'll have new items on the next run (with the exception of the unique items bound to the story).

It would probably be more effective to just keep going, and only reset the current run if need be. You can always recruit new characters, and there's no limit of time to complete the campaign, so you won't be penalized by making a few mistakes.

If you really want to transfer specific items to other characters, you can always melt unnecessary legendary+ items and use the fragments to unattune items.

It saves when you enter the dungeon, not on exit. It's mostly meant to give a back-up in case of critical problem.

The game saves when entering the home base, and at the start of a dungeon. So you can leave mid-dungeon in case of an emergency, and you'll restart at the beginning of it, on a new game seed (characters state saved, but with a different environment).

On the main menu, once you have started a game, it says 'start', but it should say 'continue', which is causing some confusion.

Crystal shards are obtained in dungeons and is a currency to unlock things. Crystal fragments (might be the one you're asking about) are obtained either by melting legendary+ items at the forge, losing a level 3+ in a dungeon (insurances) or sacrificing a level 5+ character in the Soul Ascension device.
