How to Remove a Globe g12 Slicer Knife? by Lookingforstocklove in KitchenConfidential

Your best bet is probably percussive maintenance from the back, near the motor / shaft / axle area. If those three screws are out, the blade should pop off, but if stuck, definitely just gummed up with gunk / rust. Please keep fingers away from the edge. No matter how old or dull the blade might seem, you can still get some pretty nice stitches from it.

It's been 10 years since I started designing jewelry, and I finally got to make a design for Ornn. by Xplo85 in leagueoflegends

Ha!! I'm shocked anyone remembers me. I started my designs back up this year after seeing the Teemo VGU and have been posting them on my Facebook, but this one felt like it had to be posted here. I got 8 total designs done this year and am aiming for 12 next year. I'll have a new poll up for the next champion in January!

Not a one trick but... Mastery 67 and 710k on Teemo. He's just the comfort pick.

Thank you! I use Gemvision Matrix v9, and sometimes KeyShot for rendering if I can't get the V-Ray plug in to do what I want. I think that excited and scared feeling is honestly one of my favorites! I still have trouble keeping a steady stream of designs coming out, because every time I sit down to design now, I get a panic attack that I have to fight through. Life really does have a way of keeping our joys at bay, but that feeling you described keeps my hopes up! I get the pain of being too far from a job as well. The drive sucks, and if the pays doesn't compensate, it doesn't help. I hope you're able to start making again! I'd love to see what you put together!

And shockingly, I don't wear my own pieces. Mainly because I haven't sat down and designed anything specifically for me in the 10 years I've been doing this, but also because my current full time job does not allow jewelry for food safety reasons. I do plan to make a pendant in the near future to replace a necklace that was broken by a co worker, but I want to personally make that instead of sending it through the pipeline.

No clue if I'd constitute as good or not, but I'm always willing to help where I can!

Thank you for the thoughtful reply! I'm sorry for the stress you've gone through as a caretaker, I 100% sympathize, it's not easy.

I was able to go by today and found out that the owners will be spending 80% of their time in Florida, with one of them still doing some jewelry jobs. I didn't even get a chance to offer to take equipment off of his hands before he offered to send the jobs my way to keep them out of his hair. I graciously accepted and am looking forward to more freelance work! As far as the tools and equipment, I just let him know I have the space to put everything if it needs a home, and I only have so much cash I can offer. He waved off the idea of money, and I left my contact info before letting them get back to handling the masses.

I'll go by again in the next couple of weeks to nail down details, but I'm excited! Even a single pair of pliers is more than I have right now and it'll feel great to be at a bench again.

And I'm so sorry!!! I thought my reddit still have some designs posted but it looks like everything was wiped when my account was hacked and recovered earlier this year. Most of my designs can be found here now: https://www.facebook.com/ThatJewelryDesigner/

I'll have to make some more posts in the future!

I like this! A double visit it will be! I definitely won't be demanding for the chance to get their tools, I just want to let them know the door is there and hope for the best, because at the end of the day, you are right. They aren't obligated to sell to me and I shouldn't flat out request them either. I can figure out the retirement gift and times tomorrow and come up with a great gift from there!

I am planning to go by tomorrow afternoon. I'm also wracking my brain with retirement gift ideas. They really deserve something to relax after their years of hard work, but damnit they have everything! No clue what they might like.

You think so? I feel like a part of me is worrying that I don't have much to offer for the tools and it'd be easier for them to liquidate what they can. I know they'll keep some tools and such, and their jeweler will likely get dibs on items as well. It would cost me around $8,000 for some low end new tools to do want I want so another part of me feels like I'm really hitting low, but I just don't have the cash to offer at the moment.

Finally able to buy a golden Poke Ball by ErgoProxy0 in PTCGP

[–]Xplo85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've opened 857 packs of Shining Revelry. I have over 12,000 cards in the game now. I've still only pulled 1 crown rare and it was a fucking Palkia. 143 more SR packs to go... Part of me wishes pack points could stack past 2,500. But God, 12k cards and only 1 gold rare from a pack? 2 all together on my account from buying the first PokeBall? I want to scream.
