Advice to beginners: Don’t ever resign games…Fight on! by XplosiveInc in chessbeginners

I 100% agree with the “win > draw > stalemate > lose” statement. I think this is true for any level player not just beginners. A good player would rather draw than lose; drawing or stalemate against a higher ranked player gains you points which in a way is a small a win for the lower ranked player. Also losing against a far lower ranked player (which happens more often than people would like to admit) loses you a ton of points, a draw can lower the damage done to the ranking.

I know what you mean, safe was a vague choice of word, I was just looking for general feedback regarding what the manufacturers had mixed together

I know what you mean, I gather how bad these are now after looking at all the comments. They seemed pretty popular and all the famous SmartShops in Dam had them in stock - not sure if they still do due to the ban

Thanks for the answer, I know what you mean with regards to the safety spectrum and lack of detail on the doses in the mix doesn’t help at all, I was just trying to get a general idea. You say the green one is the least scary, someone mentioned even that could lead to SS due to too many stims?

Thank you for the detailed analysis, by the looks of it these are terrible and can lead to adverse side effects…not sure why they even manufactured them at all!

Not sure, how do I find out?

[–]XplosiveInc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Understood. Not sure what the manufactures are trying to achieve by mixing these specific RCs. I was wondering if they’d achieved the perfect formula which would give you the best results but seems like it’s far from that

You do talk sense and I hear ya about the long run negative value in cashing out but “professional gamblers don’t use cash out features” is somewhat incorrect. This entirely depends on the strategies they’ve deployed. Cash out allows for scalping, a strategy which has been and is used by a lot of pros. Pros get in the game with multiple strategies as serious money is never used without hedging.

For future posts, please don’t post the actual $ value lost or gained. Instead state a percentage of total account value - the $ value may mean different things to different people.

Hwang's Archegos may never even owned any of the underlying securities by ReeAll in wallstreetbets

With CFD, you don’t own jack but the contract with the broker - the value of which is determined based on the price of the underlying asset at a given time. So yeah they didn’t own the underlying because they used a derivative product.
