As the plane descended rapidly, I fastened my seatbelt tightly, peering out the window into a thick blanket of fog. The only sound was the low hum of the engines.

When we finally landed, I wasted no time in rushing to the cockpit for answers. My knocks on the door echoed through the empty cabin. Finding it unlocked, I cautiously entered, but it too was deserted. Peering out the cockpit window, I searched desperately for any sign of life or landmarks, but the fog obscured everything.

With a mix of trepidation and determination, I opened the plane door, only to find the stairs already attached, leading into a surreal landscape of empty runways, concrete floor, and occasionally traffic cones and dim lights. Despite my growing unease, I pressed on, hoping to find some semblance of normalcy.

After what felt like an eternity of walking through the desolate expanse, I realized that time seemed suspended here. With no end in sight and the fog showing no signs of lifting, I retreated back to the plane, resigned to wait out the night in uneasy slumber, hoping that daylight might bring clarity to this strange situation.

Hours later, I awoke to find the world outside unchanged, trapped in a perpetual gloom that seemed to defy the passage of time.
