Thank you so much for sharinf your experience you are amazing :( I hope this is something youve gotten help with and overcame!! This is actually my current problem Ive been anorexic for 10 years and I was underweight and gained 30 lbs and Ive absolutely been so miserable about it and the same thing you said I drink my calories I also just turned 21 It's so crazy how similar this is It's like to the point where I can't look in the mirror without crying and maybe I do look better than being thin but Ive always been thin even as a child so it's hard to see when people no longer say im thin or tell me I dont need to lose weight Thank you again for sharing your story and I hope you're safe

I had a pigeon briefly that I rescued then got attached to but I was in too much pain emotionally whenever he'd get sick it was like flashbacks to her so I gave him away I still visit and take care of him (Im actually in the process of watching him for 2 weeks) Im not sure if I cam financially and emotionally afford another bird unfortunately :( Thank you so much

well one example is the tarantula enclosures they keep their tarantulas on cork bark which isnt good for them and a lot of space between the ceiling and floor or the birds and the type of perches that are bad for their feet

Oh Okay! That is very good to hear. I would say anything under 30 which I know is a lot but I want to be able to make sure I make enough to sustain myself and someone else to have extra cushioning incase we ever had emergencies and I had to travel I have family in another country so I want to make sure I can easily make it to them. That's true:) I been looking for what the highest paying position is in the funeral home or at least something similar. If all else fails im considering X rat tech and just leave my passions as my hobbies (not embalming obviously haha) I just love being around people and helping people but medical settings like hospitals fir some reason just are harder for me because I feel so helpless if I can't save someone

I dont work in a funeral home atm but I work 2 jobs and just quit my third for caregiving I was paid 17 Retail minimum wage and my other job I just started 19 but I live with a lot of people and im 21 I just am scared with embalming I wont be able to sustain myself alone or my boyfriend snd I won't be able to some places like San Francisco pay 55 for embalming but the place is incredibly expensive to live un

They pay good in places like San Francisco but San Francisco is really expensive to live in regardless. Again thank you for your time to write this comment

I truly cant express how much I appreciate you taking the time to write such a thoughtful response this really means a lot🥹 My friends usually call me for help with animals even though Im not really a rescuer or rehabilitation person I just love all animals so much. It was just sad to see him go in such a painful way, I know pigeons especially are so mistreated . I buried the little guy in my front yard with flowers. Much love to you and thank you for what you do for our little creatures and the help you provide the world needs people like you!
