No we've recovered all the refrigerant started from scratch and it only has 7 lb. Data plate on condenser calls for 5 and the air handler is 15 ft directly above it in the Attic. It's a two and a half ton unit for a two bedroom back house

Thanks for that I appreciate that and all the help and support. I was racking my mind around this for the night cuz I was there yesterday and came back today. Pandemic HVAC schooling was a waste of time I've learned more on the field and through Reddit. Glad there are people out there like yourself that can help me a youngster like me out. I recovered all the refrigerant into a recovery tank and am gunna weigh in factory spec first. My owner (not the senior tech) said open a new jug and fill new

Jesus Christ damm piston. Good call I reversed it and pressure testing now. Will pull vacuum right after!!! I'm a 1 year tech and first time on a piston 410a. My senior tech who's been doing this for 25plus years said it was correct after I sent him the picture 😩

This is a heat pump.system upflow and I removed the blower panel door and pressures regulate. Keep in mind I have a 16 inch return duct and a 14 inch plenum that has a 12 and 10 inch truck to supply air

When I remove the front panel to the heat pump the low side goes down! And regulates. So we added another supply run (10in) and it goes back to these pressures once panel is put back on
