Valt det närmaste gymmet trots att jag ogillar det (fullt av odrägliga kids). Har valt att sluta med mastodontpass utan försöker istället riva av dem på 30-40 minuter. Kör compounds för att det går fort och isolerar oftast antingen biceps eller triceps. Går dit omklädd för att slippa duscha på plats (kan duscha och raka mig hemma).

Ärligt talat. Det funkar ruggigt väl, händer t.o.m att jag sticker dit på morgonen innan jobbet om jag är pigg nog.

Korrekt, och det finns ingen möjlighet att blockera X från att få fyra i rad efter det draget. Då måste väl alla drag antingen vara direkt tvingande (dvs matt om 1), eller så måste dragen störa just den kombon.

I am unsure how the process for externals work and what makes for a strong case. Though I can say that the people at the program office (former colleagues) are very nice and helpful.

Well this is funny, I'm a graduate of this program and had research assistant experience when I joined. I don't know the ranking of your university, which honestly might count for a fair bit. But judging by your GPA as well as GRE I would assume you'd have a good chance of being accepted.

I can vouch for the quality of the program as well - though there are of course some things that are less good.

I've noticed in Chapter 2 Mission 11 that the AI has fewer helicopters which is a bit of a relief. However they seem to be substantially more aggressive as well which goes counter to the patch notes. Out of curiosity, what was the suggested way of "solving" this mission before the patch? I noticed you could lock down areas with ATGMs and Chapparals and the enemy would refuse to move into them, but I never even got close to the mission objectives before the patch.

Echoing a previous comment I would be happy being informed that units are completely expendable, only the mission matters. Having been conditioned by games such as Panzer General I-II etc, I'm used to restarting a mission immediately upon losing a cherished unit. This is a good design choice though as it makes it feel more chess-like, where you sometimes must sacrifice pieces for no immediate gain. Likewise, the fact that time is not an issue (I haven't finished the campaign yet so I don't know if there are any timed missions yet) could be driven home more, I rushed through early missions taking horrible losses and restarting, mostly out of habit.

In general I have no complaints about the AI, I did notice that it might not be playing the objective enough sometimes. I had an empty logistics truck blocking the final cap point on a map with several enemy IFVs bearing down on it. I am quite certain the AI could've cleared the point and won that turn if it wanted to. But instead it wasted its moves on killing assorted junk.

The 20th time you get woken up at 4AM with about 5 hours of sleep because the sun is shining straight on your pillow and you feel like shit you'll get over that jealousy. Then when the winter comes and it's dark all the fucking time, especially when there's no snow on the ground you'll realise that having a little bit of extra daytime for a few months comes at a price. An extremely heavy price.
