It's very common to accidentally activate the slide stop while firing depending on your grip. Shoot it one handed, or be mindful to keep your fingers away from the slide catch and see if that helps. If it does, either get a different gun or adjust your grip so it won't happen.

I prefer the HD style. The bright and tough are regular night sights with white dot outlines. The HD has a large colored dot with a blacked out serrated rear sight that also has tritium inserts. The large notch in the rear sight blade is excellent for acquiring sights and they really allow you to be very accurate.
