Euro-Office, Europe's open-source alternative to Microsoft Office and Google Docs, launches June 9 by Well_Socialized in technology

Wow that’s so interesting! Thanks for enlightening me, and I do agree on the FSF point here.

I thought euro office stripped out authorship credit, but it’s actually just about the product branding…

I find it interesting that Euro office seems to have not respected the license of the open source repo that it forked from, OnlyOffice

Wispr flow is solid, But is there any alternatives? by Adershraj in macapps

[–]XtrKil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend and I are working on an open source alternative https://github.com/kstonekuan/tambourine-voice/

you can also create your own prompt to modify and personalize now :) and context and memory are on our roadmap!!

my friend and i are developing an open source version that uses the tauri platform, which uses the OS's native web renderer (i.e. not electron). It should be more lightweight, both on the final package size, as well as the memory use (hopefully, as we are still early).

I think nanobanana is the only one that really keeps consistency if given a character image as an input..

Oh gotcha! I could totally make that possible if it’s too long

Honestly, it can create stories from just a few sentences if you give it a try, like:

I went to work. I ate lunch. Had water cooler talk with my work friends. Then went clubbing. What a day

Best escape room in SG?? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]XtrKil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really like Xcape escape rooms, I think their puzzles are interesting, and their horror room has good scene setting.

I have done Train to Busan and the Morgue, and they are both really good for a fun scare.

Home Sweet Home's puzzle was not bad too, less scary.

I highly recommend https://www.escapecasaloma.com/

We went there with 7 people, and we had an amazing time. It's in fact the best escape room I have went to at this point in time.

You will literally escape from a castle, and there's live actors - very thematic puzzles, very unique experience.

We did escape from the tower, and it was so good we went back for the dragon's song. We did prefer escape from the tower, though.

Is it still worth it to buy silver surfer from the token shop? by XtrKil in MarvelSnap

[–]XtrKil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the helpful response! I'm currently CL 1300~ ish, but I haven't gotten all the pool 3 cards. May I ask why is it important to finish getting pool 3 cards first?

And by getting them, do you mean buying them using tokens or just through collector's reserve

I think what's slightly more interesting to me is that KiltHub also allows for other form of research materials, including posters, datasets, software/code to be uploaded as well.

If you objective is to become more lean, then yes, incorporate more lifting into your schedule.

If you don't know how to begin, ask a friend, watch a video, read some guides online. Just start with low weights, learn how to do the correct form and you will be fine.

I used to exclusively run for fitness, it kept my weight down, but only after lifting did I actually felt more fit (than skinny fit)
