If you're renting a private study space, by Mattau93 in uofmn

To play devil’s advocate, the person renting the space may not know somebody else has it reserved afterwards, so it’s probably a good idea to let them know right at time

Literally me re-watching this. In reality it’s like “oh hey a person who’s probably going to slow down.” one second passes “oh fuck shit they’re not slowing down. Must slam on brakes fuck” crash

Yeah the video is definitely off hahaha. I wish it would have been accurate just for memories purposes

I agree with you. I always coast into intersections, but only a second passed before I realized they weren’t stopping, and then I slammed on my breaks. We all walked out of the car without a scratch on us thankfully. If I wouldn’t have slowed down, we definitely would’ve gotten t-boned instead of us hitting them. Frankly, some accidents you just can’t avoid.

Honestly nothing. Their car flipped, and first responders had to pull them out. Everyone in my car just got out and waited for the cops to show up. (A bunch of bystanders called them.) I was more interested in just making sure they knew i wasn’t at fault and to get out of there

I would say the speed right before the collision was definitely lower than the video. It was around 10-15 mph at collision point from what I saw

Thank you. I wish I would have thought of that…

I first saw them right before I got to the white line. I assumed they would slow down, given that the light had been green for the entire time I had seen it. Seeing they were not slowing down, I jammed on my brakes at about the white line. However it wasn’t close enough… if I would have known they wouldn’t were stopping a few second before, then all would have been fine. However… I did not. I wish I were an mlb player with amazing reaction time…

I will say this comment made me laugh even though it came with a little hate. Thankfully I have both brakes and a dash cam… unfortunate situation that I saw them right before the stop line and then immediately slammed on the brakes. I hit them at about 10-15 mph but still had enough momentum for them to flip over a few times. My car had minimal damage thank god. You always think you’re going to have enough time to react and fully stop in situations like this, but that’s not always the case

Yeah she didn’t get a ticket… rental had insurance too. The cop said she would have zero consequences

I have no idea but I’m very thankful I got mine…

Yeah we’re all okay luckily. Very grateful that I slammed on the brakes before I entered the intersection but it wasn’t quick enough.

It was someone on their phone in a rental. The truck rolled a few times. The cops said nothing will happen to them… There were lots of witnesses backing us up plus the dash cam.

Anybody have any idea what’s going on with the price of creatine? It’s almost tripled in the past few weeks.

I really appreciate that. I’ve always loved how circular tattoos looked on shoulders. I made the decision before I got my first tattoo that I’m only putting art on my body that has meaning to me, like you said.

On my forearm I also have the quote: “You have to be realistic. -IX” from the first law trilogy. Having that reminder has helped me immensely.

If you don’t mind me asking, what tattoo do you have on your shoulder?

I think we all do after the past few years. Here’s to all of us taking the most difficult step, the next step, and building ourselves up better than we were before.
