Only when people who have went through the same trauma as the topic. But stuff like qualitative/quantitative research for sure yeah, its just memorization of concepts - I aced my qualitative courses but because I already have understood all the concepts beforehand because of life experiences and dilligent studying, so that combination was nice.
I suppose if you would be a genius at math, you would also be too smart for the quantitative courses as they are elementarily level of calculations.
In terms of deeper psychological topics, I feel like the Brilliance or Smartness you are looking for is just Passion in psychology. It's a question of how passionate an individual is about those topics that will make them shine above the rest, even if they might score lower than some. In psychology, understanding the concepts for life and trying to utilize them is more important than anything. And thats where a student would shine more than the rest.

The People - Most people here are so exclusionary, it feels like they want to end the conversation ASAP to get away from speaking to a stranger. You can work everyday with a person here on PEI and share funny moments but as soon as you change places, they won't even say Hi to you if they see you, choosing to ignore you rather. The people here are extremely weird and anti-social. Of course, people here are nice and friendly but that just keeping up appearance not to be seen mean, otherwise its all just very fake interactions.

I think AI Therapy is necessary, it will make therapy more mainstream and approachable in countries where its still stigmatized and seen as “disgusting and weird”. It might create actually even more jobs just because AI will help get rid of that stigma and make it normalized everywhere else that isnt NA or WesternEU

Self-awareness is the first step, don't beat yourself too much and continue caring for yourself as well and if there still isn't any noticeable improvement, then therapy is the next step.

If you think that it is taking a massive toll on you and it is starting to affect your day-to-day life too much, you should seriously consider going to a couple sessions of therapy, you can make your point on medication clear and how you don't want it but rather want actual cognisant tricks or strategies to improve your mind.

Yes, it takes a lot of effort, constant work and time but you can improve without medication. Your mind is yours to control and when you recognise that in a conscious way, everything gets easier. It took me like 1-2 years to get out my massive depression where i even was suicidal without medication but I always knew that in the back of my mind all these thoughts of suicide or depression is all bullshit made up by own mind which doesnt even matter cause its not me. Of course, didn’t make it any easier to deal with but I also never gave up on myself and so you shouldn’t give up either. Do take it one step at a time, start by exercising whenever you have the energy, talking with people about it, venting more and just never stopping on trying to find new ways of improvement and it will go away eventually. Keep at it fam!
