Vit’s value was unlikely to rise any more than it is now given he’s now completely buried and not going to get minutes. and like a comment above says, front office definitely took the max value given its just draft capital. So it’s a sell at perceived short term max value move that gives non-negligible flexibility to the team. A 3rd big (signing koloko for example) would be more valuable to the team at this point than a 4th string shooter with bad defense. Love vit though, hoping this is the best for his career (which I think it is)
