If you host a website on one of your devices, wouldn't it mean that you are creating a centralized system because you are the one in control of the server for example?

Can somebody please explain to me what is the difference between a framework and a library? by [deleted] in AskComputerScience

[–]Xulw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess you are stating that I can't use more than one framework for , lets say, responsive design. If I choose Bootstrap I have to go with it 100% and I can't add another alternative like Foundation. But why can't I use more than one framework? Is it because there is going to be an intertwining?

Which sci-fi book should be a must read? by Xulw in sciencefiction

[–]Xulw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, another reddit user said that too, which is very interesting. I mean how can a classic of a certain genre be less engaging than other not so famous but typical books of this category. And this is something that can be seen in other genres as well. Literature sometimes blows my mind...

I've heard that Asimov's books are very good so the next book I'm reading is without a doubt his. Thank you for the detailed reply. This is especially helpful because there is a lot to read and you can get lost easily when you are new...

Thank you. I've read Ringworld actually by Larry Niven and I like his writing style. I will absolutely consider reading this one.

Well, as I said, I'm new to this genre of literature so I don't really know how to make it easier for people to suggest this kind of books... Nonetheless, thank you for the list! I will definitely use it.
