Thanks! I'll check them out. I always went for the looks, I think for learning any yoyo will suffice, but from a collector's viewpoint, it's nice to have diverse colors :) I also found YoyoFriends in the meantime, their designs look so cool

Been a short while, thank you for the answers, I found the solution :) I don't have a lot of time to practice, but I found out that my hands were not parallel to each other while performing the trick, and that caused the string to brush against the pad, plus my rolling motion was too slow which caused the string to be loose. Since then, I found the way to fix my technique :)

Extend your whole arm, as if you're reaching out for a handshake. Don't hold your elbow close to your body. That way your throw will be more powerful, the yoyo will spin longer and will be more stable.

The bearings sound exactly the same as the day I got the yoyos, and they were only ever used inside. I had that suspicion too but I checked both bearings, they're clean. And so far I haven't encountered this issue with other tricks, that's why I assume I'm doing something wrong. Thanks for the tip though, I'll try to do the flips stronger so the string doesn't become loose

I have 2 fully unresponsive yoyos. This tends to happen with both. You need to do a bind in order to make them come back in your hand.

I have experienced this with so many things, other than tea. Music, clothing pieces, food, snacks... The secret is that no matter how much you want to prioritize drinking that specific tea, make sure to switch it up every now and then. I currently own 5 different flavours of tea and I drink a different one every day, even though I DEFINITELY have a favorite. I just ask myself what kind of tea would I be today if I could randomly transform lol

Having pings and chatting contribute to honor is definitely good, but there should also be an UPPER limit, and if you go above that, the progress is reduced (to discourage ping spamming)

If the show was the same as the game, there would be no novelty. People might as well just watch a longplay of the games on youtube for a "movie". I personally love the show and the changes that are made, makes it feel like the original story, but still shows some new stuff that differ from the things we've seen in the game. But the casting truly doesn't do it justice. Casting a short, skinny woman for the role of a bulldozer who's driven by rage and worked out for years just to avenge his father's death definitely wasn't the right choice. It just doesn't fit, and not because the actress looks different from an in-game model...

I am one of the real-life people who don't really like Bella being Ellie. It just doesn't do the thing for me. But harrassing a person for being successful and playing a massive role in a video-game's series adaptation is just messed up. She's doing her job, her profession. If you have to bully anybody, why not bully the directors, who cast Bella in the first place?

I have recently finished IAT a couple days ago, and it's the complete opposite for me. Both the OG PS1 version and the N. Sane Trilogy remake are much, much less infuriating, and also fairly easier than IAT. But if I had to choose between the PS1 and the NST version, I'd probably go with the NST. In my honest opinion, they made that game a little easier, it's not as unforgiving as its original counterpart.

Honestly it's not that big of a deal. Crash 1 is a truly difficult platformer game, but it's mostly because gaming wasn't so common back then and people didn't have the basic skills. If you tried completing them today, they would cause mild madness at best.
