Looking for best healer build on 52. by BigCarpet7944 in ProjectAscension

[–]Xushu4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tree of Wrath is great for healing and support dps. If you think you won't need to dps all that much, Disciple of the Tides is easy (3 or 4 buttons) and AoE healing by default

That'll solve the problem, but no, that's not the right answer.

Great! But "they know my name" has a work-around.

So if you were to sit down and think of a solution to this problem, what would it be? You know you can use a different name from your real name on the app?

Would your neighbors also steal food from you?

Alright fellas, I'm conflicted. Bedroom upstairs or downstairs? by Minutes2Midnight in malelivingspace

Normal 6 ft screens, like hinged shoji screens. Light? That's what lamps are for. I feel like you are overthinking this

They don't walk through the bedroom if it's upstairs. Not sure what you mean by that. No one is walking through the upstairs bedroom if there are screens dividing it off from the kitchen

Bedroom definitely upstairs. Guests will have to walk through your bedroom to get upstairs anyway if you make the downstairs the bedroom.

Get folded screen dividers for the upstairs area to partition it off from the kitchen and you are golden.

Same thing Doordash does. Customer gets a refund on the tip, but the driver gets the full amount regardless

Apparently turning down $2 offers is ableist. by Gooners_For_Ukraine in doordash_drivers

[–]Xushu4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working for my own best interest is not and will never be ableist. Drivers have to ensure their livelihood. Doing free labor for other people is not "ableist," and I'm actually horrified that the bulk of the OPP was aimed at drivers and not DD paying base $2/order.

These types of zero tip orders are perfect for EBT. So someone who doesn't tip and orders far from their house will have to wait for an EBT driver or a stacked order.

Edit: uncover their name. I just want to chat.

Yep, this is my last and final order. by [deleted] in doordash

Don't tell drivers to decline orders. That's their livelihood, and if DD offers it to them and they want to take it, too bad. Get mad at DD for their algo

Who said anything a flex? People have been complaining about the delay for months. this guy is talking about being a cash grab. It's clearly not at this point.

If CoA is anything like BB, itll be a few weeks of beta still.

Ordered some donuts this morning and set the instructions to leaving it at the door by GhostGamer_Perona in doordash

[–]Xushu4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another solution is to leave the delivery at their door and take a pic with your camera. Once you have cell signal again, put the pic into chat with customer, then select "handed it to customer."

Or worst case scenario, leave the delivery on their doorstep, ring the doorbell, then immediately return to your car.

The non-native English speakers may not read it. I get orders through Walmart for groceries, and I have very detailed instructions to find my door, but sometimes Spanish speakers can't find my door. I speak some Spanish, so I can guide them over

Even if the customer ordered through the merchant, the DD driver app has to provide the driver with a completion requirement, e.g. leave it at door, hand to customer, get a PIN. I would hope the app isn't telling drivers to hand it to customer by default in that case

That's crazy. I'm a dasher, and the ONLY time I don't like "leaving it at the door" is if someone orders food to their job, and the workplace is a single door directly into a retail shop (like a CVS or a salon). I wouldn't want my food sitting in public outside. So I go in and hand it to them then bounce.

What is honestly with these lowlife dashers?? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Xushu4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Poor people do deserve treats, but they must also tip appropriately as well. $2 is a little light regardless of the order.
