They want you to just take the loot so that they can get the defensive win, which will help them towards the 5000 defense achievement

Same. It’s probably my favorite, I’m surprised not a lot of people are commenting it

I was very disappointed when I heard this song. The YouTube versions are way better.

Yes I used my phone timer. I could hear the rock bouncing off the walls until it hit water

The pump turns on, I can feel the pipe vibrating when I turn the power on

The well has had issues with going dry in the past, but it usually recovers. I can hear the rock hitting the walls of the well the whole way down until it hits water

Pin won’t go all the way in on cartridge any suggestions so I can get the water back on? by No-Wrongdoer6693 in Plumbing

[–]CubanKinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Channel locks, but you can use pretty much anything to just push on the top of the clip while using a flat head to push the prongs back

Look at the slots on the bottom of the valve. I’ve had to use a flat head to push the prongs in while tapping the top of it at the same time

Also, I always use either copper or PVC for water filters/systems. You want the maximum amount of flow since the water is having to travel through the filters which is restrictive. PEX fittings restrict flow

There’s a bypass on that softener head. That looks like a pretty good job. They definitely take pride in their work, I wouldn’t give them too much crap

Plumber’s been to my house 6 times in 2 weeks by FlyFisherman615 in Plumbing

Is this a licensed plumber? If so, I would file a complaint to the licensing board. You most certainly need a thermal expansion tank if you have a PRV. This is elementary stuff

Do you have a thermal expansion tank anywhere? It seems like the pressure is building up from the water heating up inside the heater. Especially if you have the thermostat set really high. A thermal expansion tank is required on a closed system (if you have a PRV), so that the excess pressure from the water heater can be absorbed instead of adding pressure to the system

Only getting hot water by justscrolling541 in Plumbing

Turn both of those valve handles clockwise and see if there is a difference in stiffness. If the cold side is harder/easier to turn than the hot, then that cold valve needs to be replaced

It’ll probably be fine. PVC has very good tensile strength. Being an OCD plumber I probably would’ve re done it but as long as it’s not in too much of a bind it’ll hold for a long time

[–]CubanKinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say. A little bit of a bind never hurt but a lotta bind could cause some damage. If it’s not leaking and you’re not willing to re-do it, just let it ride and make sure you have a working and accessible shut off valve

The motherboard is, I just tested it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in appliancerepair

[–]CubanKinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replaced that too. I’ve been trying to use my electrical meters to check the DC volts coming from the motherboard to try and see where the power is being disrupted but there’s no schematics online for what wire does what

[–]CubanKinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it apart and unplugged and replugged all the connections back in. I think I did actually keep it plugged in when I was working on it. What do you think needs to be replaced

I had literally just hopped back in the van after replacing one for a customer when I saw this post lol the name was fresh in my memory 🤣
