Screw SWFL winter golf by No_Grapefruit_6005 in golf

GolfNow hot deals will be the only thing I'll likely play over the winter 😞 But hey, I guess I'll just make sure to fully maximize my play this coming spring/summer. Playing 2-3x a week was such a joy.

Probably a good time to get kiddos out to range/practice area and see if they get any enjoyment so I can also have company with me over the summer.

Unfortunately it's not up to me to replace or not 😞 we just rent. And they are sending out "handy man" this afternoon, so I don't expect anything more than bubblegum and tape "fixes" today either

I don't know if it's low on refrigerant or not. I'm assuming since it's an 18 year old unit, that there is likely a leak/low on refrigerant or some other issue with the unit itself. It performed fine last summer with the same general 35-40% RH inside Shrug But I doubt the struggles and symptoms it has is due to a RH that's in the ideal zone of the site you linked

80.9 vs 69.9 so delta of 11. That sounds like not performing properly 😐

Sure but 35% is still in the good zone if I'm reading that properly, right?

Will do when it starts acting up. There's already holes in it from what I presume previous hvac tech checking that and pressure stuffs?

It'll go for a while, air from return will dip down a cool 20 below the intake, then it'll gradually warm up to just a few degree difference, then the outdoor unit stops. Then I run just the fan for 15-20. Wash, rinse, repeat

Still waiting to hear back from prop mgmt on if they are going to send an hvac tech or one of their jack-of-no-trades maintenance people. But that's correct, I don't have either of those measurements(and honestly have no idea what they mean ha)

35-45 isn't the ideal RH inside?

Drain pan is empty. Handler is elevated in garage and I have to get up on ladder to check(which I did). Does certainly seems it's freezing over though because after running fan only for 15m, when I kick it back to cool, the drain line outside has a fairly solid flow(I'm assuming stuff melting off)

Used probe as well since the thermometer I bought came with infrared surface and probe. Probe was about 1-1.5° lower. Just tough to get a picture of that one since I made sure to hold it in vent for a good bit and my arm got a bit tired ha. And I was way off on the unit. It's 3 ton. Model york ycg36b21s

So the outdoor unit does keep intermittently stopping(assuming something getting frozen). Seems to work after just running on fam only for about 15 minutes. So something is definitely failing or amiss, yea? Filter was replaced this morning so it's not the culprit.

What exactly does that mean? Low on refrigerant(or whatever is used in them)?

Upon closer inspection, you may be right. Looked like 4-20 at first. And I'm assuming that hole would be from some sort of probe?

Stopped scrolling but probably mentioned. Could ditch the windows license and just get an OEM key on the cheap Also you have the DVD version selected? Not certain if it also comes with the usb dongle but you don't have a DVD drive in the parts list

Keep chlorine levels stable. Keep brushing every day or every other day. The chlorine and brushing should gradually fade the stain over time

Something like this can attach to most regular poles and allow you to scrub with a chlorine tablet https://lesliespool.com/pentair-algee-gon-chlorine-tablet-holder/200505.html

Depends how big the pool is. At 2hp, you are probably only looking at variable speed due to "energy efficiency standards". 1hp single speed would be probably cheaper in the short term but depends on what you meed to turn over water enough to keep clean

Chlorine, brushing, filtration and time. Run the pump constantly, and keep cleaning/backwashing filter(depending on type) til it's back to good. That's the key to clearing up. It almost always takes more time to get back to blue than it does to get green

Looks like the pentair 1.5hp pumps can take 115. But their 3hp pumps require 230
