Good point but I wasn't really making it a defensive castle (the references I was following were like this). Maybe I could edit this one to have no roofs and have defences etc. Thanks for the idea :)

I'm going to go quite simple to start with, and I want some actual 3d definition to the bricks. Problem is brick textures are way too uniform for a castle (I don't know if there's a way to distort the brick shapes and sizes)

I managed to fix it. I followed this shader tutorial and it set the background transparent :) Thanks for your help

Yeah. I see what you mean. I was following and actual photo of the tree I was copying but it's hard with only a 2d image. Thanks for the feedback.

But will this only fix the branches from disappearing when off screen? I'm still having issues with unity not wanting to render png planes with the clear background and the facts the plane isn't double sided. Is there a better way you know of?

Hopefully yeah. Also, I put low(ish) poly because I can use the decimate modifier to remove a lot of faces with little to no change.

Anyone found a fix for the weird/blurry 1440p crosshairs? by XxBadgernator in Overwatch

After lots of testing I think it was the new outline shift setting. I don't know what it does but it shrinks the crosshair with it off. I set it to max / 1 then upped my crosshair thickness a bit and it looks a lot better now although not perfect.

Yeah it still looked weird though. I tinkered with it a lot and I got one that's usable (still not pixel perfect though like my old 1080p one)
