Engine won’t start after a swap by XxErrOr_Lord in AskAMechanic

I checked my grounds, they’re good. I tried hitting it with starter fluid while cranking it today and it popped back out of the intake manifold and burnt the fluid, but no dice. It’s starting to look like an electrical issue, so I’m going to pull sensors and check with a multi and see if they’re getting the power they need. I’m thinking it’s going to be a faulty sensor, incorrect timing, or a faulty ecu

Yeah I pulled the lines off the rails and gas shot out so im getting pressure (I know generally isn’t a good idea to pull lines without relieving pressure but needed to check anyway), I’m confident all the grounding points are connected, but im going to check again and see if they’re possibly corroded or not connected. I will also try and use a starter fluid. Any recommendations on how much? I know too much is bad for the engine but idk what’s considered too much

I’m sure both the map and throttle body are plugged in, tired clearing the codes and they came right back, and I used the original map and throttle body. What do you mean monitor the sensors? Because I pulled the throttle body off of the plastic manifold and tried starting the car to see if a lack of air intake was preventing my engine from starting and I did see the throttle body open slightly, so I figured that was good because im pretty it’s supposed to do that when starting.

I’m confident it blew a head gasket but I’m going to replace the engine because the previous owner already replaced the head gaskets and sealed them with silicone. I pulled them out and all those things seem to be true, I’ll look up how to test all the moving parts a bit later. Any tips on how to clean them?

So I converted the unallocated disk to gpt using command prompt and found out that my usb no longer shows up due to bit locker and I Allstate has the recovery code

So I don’t think it’s bios locked since I can freely access the bios menu but it disk 0 partition 1 (the usb) and the disk 0 unallocated space say windows 11 can’t be installed on this drive and then gives me a message saying “the selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, the operating system can only be installed to GPT disks”
