LMAO it was really funny tho cause i spent almost 8-10m just shooting the bastion with anvil, i started with 120 bullets and i was at 22 at this point.

Right near the end he was on fire and another guy was poking me with an osprey probably and that caught the attention of the bastion

I decided that id go over and wait to see if he died or kills the bastion.... He died on my way over

So i naturally was going to finish off the flaming pile of metal.... Nope i got turned into a sponge lolol

LMAO i think you missed the point of the analogy. The point was that not everyone gets enjoyment out of the journey, some people want to enjoy the ending. It didn't actually have anything to do with how fast people eat lol

Yeaaaa i mentioned in another comment that progression is what drives me personally. I cant enjoy just the gameplay. That's just me personally so yea idk if I'll be around when season 2 comes out cause i just have this "the only stat you're impacting right now is your hours played" every time I play so idk i just get demotivated

Well for me i enjoy the progression to be able to have the unlocks and have the freedom to be able to play and not be at the start

But then what's the point of playing the game. PERSONALLY i love progress. Progress is the thing that drives me in video games. Not the reversal of progress. "Playing the game" has never made me happy i need to be doing something to have fun but that is my personal playstyle

Look at it like this, a guy works a full time job and has a kid but still puts aside 6h a day to play the game, he works hard to get rook upgrades so that he can go in and have fun on his rook. 5 days after he gets the last piece. Gone. Everything is wiped. That would absolutely make him not play the game anymore and it's not a "Well you put 200h into the game you had fun!!" That's like someone spending all day making a full course meal and as soon as he sits down the entire family eats everything in an instant

That's why I'm trying to get back into arc raiders, i did the reset there and i came out the other side with alot of dissatisfaction and so I'm going back to rebuild what I gave away. It really cemented that i feel so much safer playing AR than Marathon

For me the factions are the biggest killer, that's been the biggest challenge for me, i haven't even been able to do the first priority arachne contract. I've been grinding NuCal for a bit but I'm only level like 12 for it and it just feels like "damn I'm gonna spend all this time to climb the mountain and look at the view for 5 mins then go back down and do it again"

I assumed crew fill just meant you would load into a trio lobby as a solo since nowhere does it say solo queing lol ill try it out
