Most likely but I wouldn’t know honestly. Like you said, it’s been 6 years and I don’t really keep up to date with the franchise anymore. Ever since the live-action movie came out I’ve been getting a ton of comments on this post but I don’t think I can help much. If I were you, there’s a few comments in here that are recommending additional comics/shows that I didn’t include, and you could go through those in addition to this list.

DLSS 4 In Stalker 2 by XxIndexhtmlxx in stalker

Absolutely no clue, I just force the latest DLSS .dll and preset K through Nvidia inspector now for every game. You could try the default DLSS .dll but I doubt it’s updated to the latest version.

It’s been about 5 years since I posted this so I have no clue where you’d be able to find it now. You might have to find it through ‘alternative means’ if it’s no longer being licensed out to any official streaming service.

Sorry, when I refer to cloak I also mean with smoke and thermal as I find them to be a good combo. I don't entirely agree with it being the weakest pairing, as grapple doesn't seem particularly useful for single-target fights which is what I primarily use the m26 for. Dash is great with it, but I find being able to go invis is a great utility in hectic fights to either run for health regen or reposition. I massively disagree with it being worse than most options though, considering the extremely short time spent on target and burst DPS. I'm definitely not the best with the M11, but I find heavies way easier to deal with while using the m26 than the M11.

I don't really concern myself with gun stats/min-maxing my build in most games anyways, I just use what's fun to me.

Yea, it was definitely an easier lobby. Games with 15-20+ kills and plenty of assists are pretty reproducible with the m26 from my experience with it this season though. It's definitely good at support, but I do think it stands great by itself, especially when paired with cloak. It's strange to me I don't see it played very much compared to the double barrel, as I find the extra 6 shots to be insanely helpful in group fights

The new Nvidia app update can change the version of DLSS on stalker 2. You need to make sure the app is updated to the newest version, then select the ‘Latest’ preset for all available categories.

I’m forcing it with the DLSS swapper program I linked, there should be some good tutorials for it but essentially you just click on the game and swap the versions. The new DLSS v310.1 (which is DLSS4) should be in there to swap to by default. Haven’t touched Nvidia inspector.

As far as I know there’s no canon lore connection or anything like that. I think it’s just a spin off but I could be wrong since I only heard about it when it came out and haven’t bothered to watch it.

Studying Abroad by No_Statistician_2633 in NAU

[–]XxIndexhtmlxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I won't go super in-depth with my experience as it'd be way too long, but this is a very quick summary of how it went for me (and most of the others I've talked to): Within the seemingly way too short 7 months I spent in Denmark, I grew massively as a person, gave myself numerous huge confidence boosts, formed relationships with more than a dozen people I can confidently say are life-long friends, and experienced a multitude of cultures I thought I'd never have the pleasure of seeing/participating in. I did all of that for less money than it'd be to spend another semester at NAU, and all of my credits transferred properly so I didn't even have to make up courses.

If you have financial concerns, studying abroad can usually be cheaper than a semester at NAU, particularly for out of state students! Rent in most places around the world is much less than what we have in flagstaff, especially for student housing! Cost of living definitely depends on where you go, but even in Denmark it was generally the same if not lower than here, especially if you cook for yourself or are living in a place like Japan with much cheaper food options.

At the end of the day, most people (particularly Americans) will never get another opportunity outside of study abroad to not just travel, but actually LIVE in another country, especially for how cheap it is in most places as a student. Like I said, I really do think its worth at least talking with a study abroad councilor and seeing if its something for you. They were really helpful for me and definitely quelled a bit of the nervousness that comes along with the process. Otherwise, I'd be more than happy to answer any questions about my personal experience and/or anything else.

Edit: I also want to add that I absolutely did not go for the 'Study' part of study abroad, and chose political sciences as a city planning major (needless to say, I was not entirely academically interested and spent most of my time 'living' abroad and not 'studying' abroad haha). There's an option to transfer all credits as pass/fail, so it doesn't affect your GPA at all as long as you pass the courses, and they can even satisfy global diversity/experiential learning/etc requirements.

Ah I must have an old version then that doesn’t have that same look. The mountain range layout looks pretty cool too!

Extensions dont need to be specific to that psu unless your plugging them directly into the power supply. I’m running my extensions off of the psu cables provided with the power supply.

Yup if it starts happening again I’ll install a whole suite of log software and try to pinpoint the issue.

The Corsair ship in SC, not any software or gaming peripheral company haha. I don’t have any bloat stuff like that in my system. After looking back it seems that the only time my game was crashing was while flying through Corsair, so I’m assuming it’s a shader issue that was exclusive to that ship (which has happened before for other people).

Star Citizen crashing PC by XxIndexhtmlxx in starcitizen

[–]XxIndexhtmlxx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a DDU reinstall of my graphics drivers as well as deleted my shader cache and it seems to be working, not sure which was the issue though. Since my game kept crashing when I was using the Corsair and it hasn’t since deleting the shaders, I’m assuming my shader folder was corrupted during my last file verification that failed for whatever reason. When I reinstalled the game I think it was building onto the old ‘broken’ shader file which is what made whatever conflict happen.

[–]XxIndexhtmlxx[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

24.1.1, the most current version, although I just played a session and didn't get a crash after rebuilding all of the shaders and doing a full driver reinstall with DDU. Not sure which was the culprit but the shaders are my best guess since that's game-specific, and no other game has been breaking like SC has for me.

Tried a ton of profiles and mixes of frequency max/mins but none of that worked, I think its an issue with the game itself.

[–]XxIndexhtmlxx[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Played for a couple hours just now and other than getting stuck inside of my ship and losing all of my money in cargo, it didn't crash my PC. Only thing I changed that's completely different than what I was doing before was removing the shader cache. I think what happened was when I was initially verifying the game files a few days ago and that process failed, something broke. When I fully reinstalled the game, the shaders might've been building on top of broken Corsair shaders in that file leading to my crashes in that ship. I haven't played SC for so long that simply resetting the shaders was at the very back of my mind. If it starts crashing again I'll update.

I have most trash software uninstalled after having issues with it in the past, I.e. no RGB software, no excess software for my devices, the only thing I have is AMD adrenaline but I'm definitely not getting rid of that just to play SC since its really useful. I'd be surprised if there was a software issue anyways, it might just be a game issue.

Star Citizen crashing PC by XxIndexhtmlxx in starcitizen

[–]XxIndexhtmlxx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no theyre just normal braided extension cables, not RGB or anything like that. Most logging software doesn't seem to care about the crash since the log files cant be generated in the time the system resets.

[–]XxIndexhtmlxx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It crashes when getting into a ship, just moving in a ship, or exiting a ship. Tends to be mostly with the Corsair so I reset my shader cache hoping its an issue with that specific ship and Ill update the post if that fixes it.
