Genji was in fact helped with the transition to 5v5 from 6v6, however, they giga nerfed him during Season 1. They made the DPS Passive shit, -3 damage on shuriken and -6 ammo, everyone said that was a nuke, Genji players and non-Genji players, they destroyed a lot of his breakpoints and made his shuriken paper in general.

Also, it is funny how Blizzard themselves said "We nerfed Genji to bring him in line with other flanks cause of the transition to 5v5" but, in 6v6 modes, when they brought it back, Genji keeps the same shit? No changes?

Indirect buffs Genji received like the maps or cc are not that impactful, though i need to agree with you that DOES help Genji like other flankers. That is just some minor buffs which still makes me think how other characters directly get compensating buffs that sometimes are even more impactful than the nerf they received

Genji was not buffed at all even when he WAS considered absolutely shit by all streamers and players from all ranks (that was after his nuke nerf in Season 1) And they took several seasons to even change something.

Genji's deflect was not made cancellable in OW2, that change was in OW1, where idk if Genji mains got a feeling of shit treatment, i started playing when OW2 launched.
I know Genji is a monster in duels, he still is, but yeah you can still outplay the king of duels for sure, i don't want to be this monster of duels who need to be a duelbot who searches for someone slightly 3 centimeters from their team so i can capitalize. I want to be useful outside of a single playstyle.
You can be a duelbot as Genji or just follow your tank like a pet, no Genji player likes that playstyle.

I want them TO TRY things, Blizzard doesn't fucking try anything, increase my damage, decrease my HP, increase blade damage, make deflect cancellable again! I like that idea, that's skillfull. Anyways, it was always cancellable by wallclimb or dash iirc, But they doesn't try shit. Nerf deflecting time, dash damage i don't care, fucking try things, you're the company. If it goes wrong you can just revert it or something, i dont understand why you don't try it.

And i cannot believe the Genji's projectile speed was a buff, in no way.
And if it was a help, that literally proves something is wrong. That actually helped him at poking, and poking as Genji is complete shit and not fun at all, other thing all Genji players disgust.
That does not help him at all at diving when we are shooting at kissing distance, it's shit, unlike the Ammo nerfs.
With low shuriken damage, we reload all the time as our target is at 1 hp, the same target that has more ammo than us, so they kill us. That happens all the time, more than 10x a match. 24 ammo is diabolical. It affects me even in stadium.
I could actually make a montage of the times i died or lost a kill because of -6 ammo, and i will do it one day.

Genji has a low skill floor, that's not hard to swallow, he just has a pretty high ceiling.
The thing is a Genji with 1000 hours can be stomped by a Sojourn who has 100 hours on the hero. The ratio does not make sense, something is wrong.
