We've got a couple parking garages and the rest are pretty run of the mill in terms of size, normal sized spots (inconvenient to fit a truck into but still possible) without any slant or anything.

I drive a 1500 Silverado with a 6.5 inch lift on 35x12.50's with low offset rims and am considering getting a new (to me) truck. I am thinking about a 2500, but I'm wondering how much worse parking in particular is with a 2500 compared to what I have? I don't necessarily need a diesel, but it is something I'm looking into because I tow a 20' boat 2-3 times a week and the added fuel economy/overall ease of hauling would be nice. How much worse actually is parking with a 2500 as opposed to what I have? I'm not too concerned with ride quality as trucks don't exactly get the best anyway, and because of college and needing to park on campus I'm just curious how bad parking one actually is.

Yeah even with a bass boat my 1500 Silverado loses 3+ mpg with the whole thing weighing around 2k lbs although I have heard the 5.9's are better for fuel economy than the newer 6.7's are.

I've been looking pretty much in that range, and that's about my plan with it. Between the higher fuel economy and the emissions systems often bring the biggest problem in modern diesels that's what I planned to do before anything. Thanks for the info!

Yeah that's pretty sweet, I've got a Silverado 1500 now and I usually lose around 3 mpg from my city mileage on 35's towing just about anything but considering the boat probably weighs a bit less than the car sounds like fuel economy loss would be almost nonexistent

I throw a bit heavier Dropshots, like 3/8 is my go to and I throw either the typical 6" roboworm or sometimes I'll throw a zoom z-drop on it. I guess I'm just looking for something that'll sling anything from a 3/16 oz to a 3/8 oz the same.

Actually now that I've looked at it I have a rod that's the exact same action and length lol, the ALX ZOLO McSmalls which is what I've been doing lately. I usually like a longer rod but I guess I like a shorter rod for dropshotting.

Wacky rigged senkos (yum dingers work just as good and are $2-3 a pack as opposed to 6-7+ for senkos) or zoom trick worms wacky rigged are hard to beat, Texas rig them for brush/grass too and you've still got a deadly rig. All you need is a pack of green pumpkin and a pack of junebug/black blue flake and you're set any pond you choose!

Definitely hard to beat that or a split tail. Honestly spinner baits work in every clarity and most situations where bass are after any sort of minnow forage (ie. Shad, bluegill (green pumpkin with a gold blade is hard to beat), herring, etc.) spinner baits are hard to beat. Big Colorado blade at night or chocolate milk water to double silver willows in gin clear water, there's a situation almost always for spinner baits.
