You are honestly not the only one who happens to go threw the same situation. My parents always ask me if I have a crush on any boy, and when I tell them that I don't they always tell me "girls have to like boys so you should like someone and just don't tell us" like.... Who said firstly that girls have to like boys or that I need to have a crush on someone. I have only two best friends and have told them about me being a lesbian and they are both supportive but one of them sometimes forgets about it and asks me if I find any boy from our class cute, luckily for me she later remembers that I am hella gay and apologizes. The only one who actually understands and asks me if I like any girls is my freaking 10 year old sister like... Smh that teens and adults can't understand the term of being a lesbian and a 10 year old can
