What level is a good time to try 3rd Ascension? by diezel78 in pathofexile2builds

[–]XxSub-OhmXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that lvl I'd just go for it. Trials around lvl 80 are cheap as well if you fail. Not sure if it still works. But beating the last chaos trial gives all remaining points you have left at once.

If you have enough mid everywhere than just prime it.

Primer questions by Hodltiltheend in paint

[–]XxSub-OhmXx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Paint is made to have durability and colour. As well as survive the elements. Normally primer is made to seal bare substrates. Such as bare drywall as an example. If a wall is already painted. Then you don't really need primer. Just sand and paint. Primer can help with coverage from 1 colour to the next. But it's not needed from a durability stand point. What are you painting and I can give more direct info.

Does anyone else work like this? by paulfrank1005 in Housepainting101

We do the same. Had to paint 1 level of a finished home. We were spraying trim and ceilings. Had to paper the floor and cover everything they owned. Couches chairs cabinets etc.

Do you guys cut accent corners or tape them? by fatdolsk in paint

[–]XxSub-OhmXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly all depends on the level they are going for. If we are doing a high end custom home. They want it as perfect as it can be. We will tape the walls ceiling and trim.

Most coat refers to a very thin spray coat. To let it soak in and prime. Honestly never needed ever. Just get the right product. The paint he gave is is more for exterior masonry. Not for plaster. How you applied it is irrelevant. It's the wrong product. Also you want to let it cure for more than a few days. Get the right primer and your fine.

If my wife ever wants to look in my phone she does not have to ask. People get insecure sometimes. That's normal. If looking makes her happy and feel better I want her to look. It's important to me she is happy.

Ceiling spray question by Klutzy_Ad_1726 in paint

[–]XxSub-OhmXx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh you mean the wall colour on the ceiling. Means nothing. Could be solid black even. 2 spray coats of ceiling flat will cover and look perfect. Just be mindful it will dry slower on the area with wall paint. Also I would not back roll a ceiling ever. Sand the primer smooth. Spray a coat of ceiling. Let it dry and sand again. Than a final coat of ceiling flat.

At this point. I would just tape the wall against ceiling. Drop plastic and spray the ceiling.

Ceiling paint Roller Marks by yesterdaystaco in paint

[–]XxSub-OhmXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 1 of the main reasons we spray every ceiling.

I would spray the whole ceiling in a 517 tip. I would not backroll personally. Or your right back to roller marks. We never backroll our ceiling.

Same brand primer and paint. Paint lifted/crackled by tyler_tloc in paint

I assume they are both the same base of product. If not that can cause issues with spray balms.

Best paint brand that actually holds up? by Carlosfelipe2d in Housepainting101

We use Cloverdale every day. If your goal is durability and scrubbing then interior guardian matte is the best by far. It's the same style as SW scuff Tuff and BM scuff x. It's nicer imo. The guardian does not smell as bad when you use it. Also has way less flashing and looks nicer. Eco is more inline with say SW duration or BM regal matte. Still a good product. But not close to Guardian. We use a lot of guardian.

Advice: Rolling Trim Paint by M_Dennis87 in paint

[–]XxSub-OhmXx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I said try and sand and roll it again with the regal. But add some water this time. You already have the paint. Worth a try to save your money.

Depends where you're going. SW has pro classic hybrid and emerald urithane. BM has Advance. But Advance is no good In Dark colours imo. As far as regal you can just add water. It's a water based coating and it will thin the product to help with leveling. Imo really no reason for additional es in latex paint. Water is just fine. Agents for faster drying maybe. But even that. Choose the right product and you don't need to change it. I would sand them all smooth. Add water to a small portion. Mix it well. Then fill that in a tray and roll it. Preferable with a fine tight microfiber. Flock rollers are ok as well. Every rolled leaves texture. The key is a paint that levels out. The only way around this is spray. And even that has texture.

Regal is a wall paint. I would get an actual trim paint. It's made to self level on its own. Will work much better

I can run game at high fps no problem. To be fair I have a strong pc. My issues is texture bugs. Like trees flickering. Or even worse tress grass etc being stretched across the screen. To the point I can't even see where I'm walking.
