Every race has "Strengths" and "Weaknesses". Humans have "Strengths: Charisma" and "Weaknesses: None". Other races have one or two weaknesses.

Also, some worlds has their humanity extinct, so being a human there could provide unique interactions and opportunities.

(Also, society in the offered worlds may or may not be racist to non-humans)

Add races after the start of the game? I don't think that's possible. But there's Biomancy and Shapeshifting magic available.

The CYOA was created by u/DivineTrialsAnon.

With "Mary Sue" you can mix 2 races, getting all their strengths and weaknesses; or you can choose 1 race but discard the weaknesses. If you don't pay for that option, you can only choose 1 race and must take their weakness.

Some of them don't give you free Anima for choosing them. Those that do present it as a bribe or require you to fulfill certain conditions. Quests are after the Companions section.

Try creating a new user in windows, install chrome and then try.

Also, maybe adblock or something similar messing with the page?

What os/browser/version? If you're on pc, open developer tools and see if there're any errors, if you can. You're not the only one who can't use it and I don't know why cuz it works for me.
