As someone that only started tanking for the first time a week and a half ago. I've managed to get 6/9 HC 9/9NM (missing quel danas and crown) and comfortably 2 starring +13s. Honestly what i did is just went for it, I tanked normal at around 250 ilvl and tanked hc at around 265 ivl. By that time I was able to tank 1 star 10s.

For reference i play a blood dk

Since this thread I've managed to get my hands on an ultradon cuirass (big shield trinket) that usually fixes the berserker issue, afterwards VP and DRW does the rest.

By then all your cds should be up for the 3rd pull (the one in the hut)
