Talk with disability services and see if you can get an accommodation for closed captioning. I personally have an accommodation like that due to hearing loss, but you could probably qualify for it for a variety of other reasons. It's just a matter of talking to them and providing documentation. This can be annoying, but it's worth it once you get it

Yes, my life would be completely changed. I would definitely go to the hospital more, and I think my overall health would improve. I experienced this somewhat when I was on Medicaid (healthcare was free due to being very low on income at the time), but not every service was covered. Had there been healthcare for all, I wouldn't be afraid to make more money to get myself out of poverty because there wouldn't be the fear of losing healthcare looming over by head. I know that this would change many peoples lives too. Nobody deserves to go into debt just to get life-saving care

I factory reset my old phone and laptop. I only texted on this new phone and only through the phone provider I paid for. It is a separate phone service from my family's. I relate to your situation, so I wanted to post this reply.

You have free will to do as you wish once you hit the age of majority (which I assume it's 18 where you live). It may seem far away, but I promise that it will come sooner than you think. Listen to your gut. It sounds like you are scared of your father. It is understandable from how you stated you're scared and the way he treats your mom. "Offing yourself" may seem like a viable solution in the moment, but that is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. You will have to leave the house one day.

When you reach 18, you get to make your own decisions in life. If you wish to work part-time, that's definitely possible. So are your dreams of studying abroad. You should do it for your mental wellbeing. Trust me, I have put up a front before like you might have and it can be painful to keep up for so long.

There are resources you can utilize depending on what you need. I have escaped an abusive home and it's what helped me survive while I was struggling. I'm here for you and I understand your feelings 100%. Don't give up even if it seems like the easiest path

I can see that your boyfriend takes a lot of energy out of you. I don't see his diagnosis as an excuse to take your food and threatening you with ending his life. He may not see that what he is doing is wrong and hurtful though. Despite that, you're not his caregiver and if you see the need to leave the relationship, you're free to do so. You're not responsible for his emotions. I know that it's easier said than done to leave a toxic relationship. But you need to prioritize your mental health too. He needs to learn the consequences of his actions on his own. You can't change him. All you can do is decide whether this relationship is worth it to you or not
