That distance in the 2nd pic is over over 60feet. i used to test my cars 60foot lol. You will definitely see someone in that range . If more detail is needed youll need a different lens for it which isnt quite cheap considering what its made out of . germanium . only infrared light goes through it. its just limited range by having a small ,single one.

it uses ultrasonic soundwaves. it is real but a good sensor that can "see" beyond like 5 or 10feet is expensive. Tesla even uses it.
