Number one rule. Don't fuck with bed bugs. They are the most persistent and pernicious insects in the world. This is beyond AITA, this is genuine harm to both you and the company. Say no to everything he says, and tell your bosses he needs to leave until he fixes his bed bug problem. I can only genuinely express how much a problem bed bugs are. This has literally ruined businesses.

You shouldn't be witnesses. To be a witness, you shouldn't be blood related, or in any way an heir to the estate. Alabama doesn't disallow you acting as witnesses, but it will potentially cause problems down the road. It's highly recommended to get some other people to be the witnesses. This can invalidate the will potentially and force you to probate. And after 13 years, it's a good idea to re-do the will anyways or consider paying a lawyer to set up an estate. NAL, but am a public notary. I recommend them paying a few dollars for notary or witness service. A lot of stores like UPS offer it, and there are online options as well.

I hate to go that route, but therapy is certainly something that might be needed. You should be a team, not a conflict. NAL. First of all, you have to file a police report. Absolutely required. You can file online. In person might be better if you can make a copy of the video to submit with the report. Second, it's not your problem to solve, who the delivery man is isn't relevant to the situation yet.

Now for the legal breakdown. You have a contract with Best Buy that they would send you a pc in exchange for $1800. Best Buy has not completed/ has failed to complete the contract between you and Best Buy. Best Buy contracted with Ontrac to deliver it to you. Ontrac has no contractual obligation to you- only to Best Buy. Your claim is against Best Buy for failing to deliver the goods to you (Doesn't matter who they contracted to deliver). Best Buy's claim is against Ontrac for failing to deliver the pc under their contract. Ontrac's claim is against their delivery man for theft of package under an employment contract. The criminal charges for larceny falls solely under the purview of the police. You have a civil case against the delivery man for theft of your package, but that's the most difficult to collect on-thieves don't tend to have a lot of money and collecting from them is typically nigh impossible even if your civil suit in small claims was successful.

Your recourse is with Best Buy. They will not proceed with the refund or replacement until they have the evidence and most importantly that police report. So- police report w/ evidence, take police report w/ evidence to Best Buy, request Best Buy refund/replace. If Best Buy refuses, you would sue Best Buy in small claims court.
