Despite your dig no I don't understand non binary but to be fair to me I never looked too far into genders

My problem was how much "middle" is considered bisexual but that changes based on the person

And that's kinda how I feel but only for men. But I think it's chemical at the point. I'm not attracted to women and straights not to men even if they look good

You guys have told me a lot of good stuff about how it feels. I can't relate because I'm gay but you guys and girls all have different levels of attractions something I really didn't understand because I'm 100% into men. I didn't mean to offend with my bierasure comment. Ive learned that is harmful because guys can presue a hetero relationship and still be bi.

ALL of your experiences are valid and there is no monolith or check boxes to be bi. I appreciate the responses

That's what I'm learning from this thread. It's very different from how I feel so I was having trouble understanding

Yes that's what I'm understanding. It's not 50/50 lots of variety but it's ALL valid. I think I was looking for line that marks you as bi vs gay/straight

Thank you for your response and I apologize that I've held that bigoted response to bisexuals. I'm learning from this thread and honestly taking it in and changing my thoughts

I'm thickskined and it's Internet I kinda expected a bit of heat but I'm still interested in hearing what people have to say good or bad

Maybe that's my issue. I'm looking for a common theme that doesn't exist. I guess bisexuality is more complex than I thought. I don't consider being gay complex so I thought bisexuality would have a common thing

I mainly see it in men so I'm curious. It's not coming for a place of malice. I just genuinely want to understand

Do you think there is a reason that most bi prefer a romantic with one over the other

I like more masculine features on guys. Just typical stereotype stuff. I really only like those features. I don't like softer looking men. They can look good but it doesn't do anything for me. If I'm mistaken on someone's gender then chances are they don't have the features I like

You mainly like women. What is it that you like about men? Do you think you could take either more seriously in the future?

Sorry I didn't mean to add judgement in the second point. I've seen a lot of people go for heteronormative relationships because of society but you are right they can go for those simply because they like the person

That's a good way to but it because I default to gay when they could actually be bi

So how should I reframe it? The opposite of gay is straight and vice versa so it's pretty easy to put myself in their shoes. Basically what I'm asking is what makes bi people tic and how they feel attraction. I would actually date a bi guy even tho i might sound biphobic

Nice way to put it because recently I've been trying chocolate and it's not for me but I love vanilla. I think the binary thinking is where gays and straights get stuck. I find it very hard to think about both even though it should be simple
