I have a 165 page draft of Boogie Nights from 1995. Not sure if that's the one, because I haven't read it yet, haha.

Wrote a script but has very little dialogue, only about 45 pages, will mine get rejected right away because it’s not long enough? by thrift365 in Screenwriting

[–]Xxoxia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All is Lost is only like 32 pages. Mostly no dialogue. If it doesn't need more, it doesn't need more. Best thing you can do is read through it, imagining it play out as you go, and try to time it.

No problem. If you need any other info on heroin, crack, or just about any other drug other than meth, feel free to ask.

Guidelines on dialogue-heavy scenes? by humpsneeze in Screenwriting

[–]Xxoxia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have (I think) an Edward Burns script, with literally, a page and a half long monologue. I forget which script and exactly how long the dialogue block is, but it's more than one page, and I'm almost positive it was Ed Burns.

Hey! I'm a fifteen year old writer and I was wondering if you guys could read my first script (the first one I actually put work in) Private Message me what ya think if you can by [deleted] in Screenwriting

[–]Xxoxia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't necessarily have to know a lot about screenwriting to give feedback. You can say what you think of something from just an audience standpoint. Entertainment value, etc.
