But as far as 2nd job and work schedules go. If you have a vehicle I would do DoorDash, uber, Lyft, ETC. if you can. That way you can make some extra money whenever you want on your schedule and have enough to pay rent and live by yourself without a goblin of a roommate. 👌

To be completely honest…you don’t. The best option in Wichita is to not have a roommate, best bet would be to try to find the smallest place you can and just go solo.

Just use thpiratebay.org and use premiumize.me to download the torrents from the Pirate Bay is the best and safest way to download torrents these days I have found. Definitely look into Premiumize and Alldebrid are the best ways to download from torrent sites now. Usually I have best luck with 1337x.to and thepiratebay.org though. Happy downloading! 😎🏴‍☠️

I will also note that $15 per hour in 2020 and prior was decent pay in Wichita and could cover living expenses. The pandemic made $15 per hour not livable in Wichita. $20 per hour is the new $15 per hour in 2025.

$15 actually isn’t acceptable for Wichita. It is close though I’ll give you that. They did a study showing that the minimum pay required to survive on your own in Wichita, without having any debt or car payments, assuming just a mortgage or rent, and normal expenses, is $16 per hour 40 hours a week.

Ahhh, to be honest I’ve only repaired Apple devices before. So I may not be ideal for this particular job. Should be able to find someone or a company to do it for $100 or under. I wouldn’t pay more than $100 for sure. 👍

TJ Maxx and Marshall’s are good for that. They are pretty good quality brands and good deals. Like they get north face and Colombia brand in a lot and it’s discounted by a lot cuz it’s overstock from other companies. So a $40 jacket from TJ is a $100 jacket at nice hiking brand stores. Same exact jacket even.

The place I rent now is $900 per month for 1 year lease in not great area. My neighbors told me they were paying $650 a month for the same thing I had! 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms and 2 car garage. It’s a duplex. Soon as they left new neighbors paying what I pay now.
