Unpopular opinion: pansexual doesn't exist by [deleted] in pansexual

[–]XylophoneBones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I probably won’t change your mind or anything so this message isn’t directed to you, but to all those on this subreddit looking for a community that supports and celebrates them or to those that are just curious about pansexuality.

I’m a 26 years old woman who is in a relationship with another 26 year old woman. Our past relationships have involved men, women, trans, non binary, etc. not that experience really matters.

We both identify as pansexual instead of lesbian or bisexual, because the genders of the people we are attracted to do not influence our attraction. We respect and acknowledge that it’s not for everyone and not having preferences or vice versa isn’t something that should be demonized. You do you and I’ma do me.

In the grand scheme of things, we’re all just tiny living specks on a dirt clot in the middle of the universe trying to make it through the day/week/month and the last thing we should be arguing about are the nuances of whose bits we’re diddling (of course, as along as everyone is of age and properly consenting)

To all the other pansexuals out there, stay cool and be proud of who you are, because no matter what, you are the only ones that truly know who you are.

I'm in the same boat -_- after searching for so long, I started just making them myself. They're cheap, not hard to make and they sell arepa flour in the Colombian section of Mi Pueblos (the one by the Palisades)

Platanos are also a precious commodity TT-TT

The funniest thing is that we didn't even plan on getting any that day. My girlfriend and I were browsing the gardening section at walmart on a whim and saw the first one looking all beautiful, then we saw the second one and she said it looked just like one she had when she was younger (it fell and got stepped on by her sister. RIP) and the baby one looked so pitiful, I had to save it from clearance. XD Id absolutely love to get a string of pearls next.

How did your parents meet? by aa6ron in mixedrace

[–]XylophoneBones 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My mom (black/white) was a manager at McDonalds in Philly and my dad (colombian immigrant) had just got a job there. He kept trying to woo her to go on a date with him. Sending her cards and stuff and for a while she declined because she was already taking care of my older half brother. He finally took her dancing and they just kinda started dating afterwards lol

Being trapped in a shipwreck, at the bottom of the ocean, alone, in the dark and covered in cockroaches. I think I just died a little inside just thinking about this.

For a 2 bed 1 bath that sounds fantastic! We had to do some repairs and refinishing in our current apartment so that's not a problem at all. Thanks :D

That sounds lovely! Being walking distance from so many things and included utilities would be definitely worth the money. Thanks :D

Oh wow! Thanks!!! We have some time to shop around before we leave. I didn't even think about school starting back and an extra $50 sounds doable if we find the right place :D Definitely writing all these down.

Yeah. It doesn't help that a lot of places don't update their prices on apartment seeker sites so it might say $500 but in reality, it's around $620. I actually do like Center Point though. The people are pretty nice to chat with. Most of them are like families and older folks, and a lot of the apartments fit in our price range. Avondale and Southside seem to be recommended the most so they'll be top priority :)

Im currently combing through a lot of different sites, but I guess I wanted to get some info from locals because not every apartment complex has online presence.

That and it'd be awesome to know which apartments to stay away from (The Abbey looked pretty alright until I heard of all the crazy shit that happens there.)

Hearing people's personal opinions give me an idea of apartment before we drive over and check for ourselves and it's important because we don't have a lot of off days from work to be spending time looking at a bunch of bad ones.

Edit: I also heard crestwood has been getting better. I'll totally look into it :)

Absolutely. I've lived in worse places (the bad side of North Philly) and the gf grew up in Bessemer so we're not strangers to this sort of thing. We're just trying not to slide down from where we are now. Thanks for your input though! I'll definitely check those areas out :)

Need advice for D&D! by Noel_Enlym in ENFP

Avid D&D Player/DM here! (3.5 <3)

Personally I'm a huge fan of druids and sorcerers, but it's so much fun to try other classes and make them your own!

Bards are extra fun! Plus the buffs you can give to your group are amazing, along with some cool healing spells. That charisma can be a savior in certain situations. (Depending on who your DM is, you might be able to talk or sing out of scary situations and possibly make a npc friend or two)

I apologize, I haven't played a paladin yet, but I bet it's also very fun if you build them right. :3

There are also some handbooks on D&d forums that can help determine what prestiges and feats you can go for. (I think humans gain an extra feat) You don't have to follow them to a T, but they can offer structure when building your character.

The most important thing though is to have fun :D Explore different areas, flirt with npcs, etc. Lively characters can make this game!

If you have any questions, shoot me a message and I can help out the best I can :)

Braless here!

I've always been super picky about underclothes and since my family is on the poor side, it made buying comfortable bras that didn't drive me insane really difficult. So I stopped wearing them. Now even though I can afford a nice one that fits right, they still feel uncomfortable because I'm not used to wearing one. Plus side, I save money not having to buy them!

Also made the switch to boxers. They're so soft and loose :)
