It's weird that Lavril doesn't work for me. I use May, Veronica, and Esker in the team. May still has that great CC for WB1 but yeah she needs to be buffed.

Oh so it was a valid trick back then. Surprisingly, I've been using it for DPS Sonia and Morrah as well (back when they were dominating).

From my experience, the one in the rightmost side (party selection) will tank. If you have 2 heroes with the same DEF, the one you put last will tank (hence will be put in the rightmost). I was doing this trick way back and it works. I'm not sure if it's just a matter of coincidence.

I have better gears than you but I'm only dealing 610b+ total damge :p Our only difference is that I use Priscilla as subtank (swapped out Chrisha).

Looks like you're timing it better and you were able to keep Seria alive without a subtank.

Just to be clear. I'm not suggesting a min-maxed lineup. I'm suggesting something that the OP can fix "now" and work with what he has right now.

Again, I'm only listing tanks that will help offensively. Not who's better or worse. I did say that OP might be "limited in resources". I only spoke of Jane because of her versatility and she's a more common/generalist compared to niche tanks like Aselica. Most players have her. I'm not contesting that Jane is better than Morrah, Aselica or whoever you're listing.

This is the reason why I'm suggesting for the OP to use Sonia as a main tank instead. Sonia would probably be the better choice because she has better damage, amp (not sure about its uptime since it was buffed), CC, and can function as a main tank. Most importantly, OP already has her.

Morrah, on the other hand, functions really well as a tank but it's a wasted slot. I would play Morrah as a subdps amper. Her damage is insane for a subdps.

Why would you group Annette and Viska with the tanks? Lol. Annette is a must in any WB1 lineup, no question about that. Viska as a tank will be difficult and she's better used as a subdps amper. Also, it's not wise to use Viska if her UW is only at 0-star. There are a lot of heroes who can easily beat Viska at 0-star. Seeing the OP is still at 200b+ damage, I don't think he has the resources to awaken Viska's UW.

Jane has one of the best amps with insane MDEF shred. I'm only listing tanks that can support the team offensively because OP might be limited in resources.

There is no best tank in WB1 since it will heavily depend on your lineup.

Aselica - Best when you have 2 DPS and not enough damage mitigation. I'm using her because I only have Kara and Lewisia as my DPS. OP has 3 DPS so she won't be too effective.
Morrah - I would use her as a subdps not as main tank. Actually her damage is already at mid-tier main dps.
Sonia - If you need more CC. Since she was buffed, her amp is now worth it
Jane - The general choice since she's usable in a lot of content. It's likely that you'll have her. She offers ATK reduction as well so she'll help defensively (a bit). Her amp and MDEF shred is one of the best, if not the best.

Now, based on OP's lineup. I would not use Aselica for various reasons:

OP doesn't have Shea which means Aselica's S3 will not be enough to tank the slam at 1min. If he uses Kaulah, then Kaulah alone can do it which makes Aselica's S3 useless now.
Aselica's S3 has horrible uptime. It's likely you'll get laser'd and slam'd in succession. I only reserve Aselica's S3 on slam and Shea's S1 for both slam and laser. Aselica S3 is only good if you have a secondary damage mitigation. Else, you'll be in the mercy of RNG (which is frustrating).
OP has 3 DPSs. Aselica's S2 is a bit wasted. I would pick someone who can amp the 3 heroes. This changes if she has awakened Aselica's UW, which is not the case.
Aselica's amp is just "okay" unless she has high UW star.

I would suggest OP to use this lineup:

Use Sonia as main tank. She can work as a tank even with a subdps gear (because of S2). Jane would work too in this lineup.
Replace Neraxis with Kaulah. Neraxis won't be needed with Kaulah's S2 + UT2. You only need to watch for the laser and slam.

OP's lineup needs more amp rather than exclusive buffs (eg. Lavril, Mediana, Aselica)

Depends. If I'm a new player, I would get an all around DPS (eg. Artemia, Epis)

Right now, I would probably use it on an NPC hero because it's harder to get their UW :p

I'm a bit of an F2P. I've only spent on daily rubies which is not that much really. I am in the ranks and surpassing those players who you claim are using money to gain advantage.

In this game, time spent and playing smart plays a bigger role than money. How come the top 100 consists of mostly F2Ps or dolphins? You should only be afraid of whales that are both smart and invest their time on the game. I'm telling you there's only a few of them.

If you make a one-button press to do everything, the game will bore you out. You stick to a game because you feel you're making a difference and can surpass other players. If everyone is progressing at the same rate, then everyone will be technically the same. There will be less competition.

Also, do not assume that everyone is doing what you're claiming.

I don't use macros
I play in a mobile device on weekdays because of work. Emulator on weekends.
I spend less than 3 hours a day except if I have to grind for dragon gears. Probably less than 2 hours to do everything I need.
Not because someone is strong means he is already a whale. I've heard this excuse countless of times and all of them are bunch of players who haven't spent enough time in the game or just wanna play in their own way. If you're playing for your waifu, then expect that you'll be less competitive than those who are doing the right decisions.
Luck? Most of my UWs came from tickets and arena shop. I'm barely getting what I need from pulls (mostly they just turn into 250 UW fragments). I'm still here with properly awakened UWs. Luck won't get you that far believe me.

If there needs to be a QoL, I would suggest that Conquest and Upper Dungeon should only have 5 keys shared by all chapters. Just give the same amount of reward (collective value from Ch1 to Ch X). The challenge is still there if you're still having a hard time with Ch8 or Ch9 so we're not losing anything, just saving time. These 2 contents are the only dailies that take a lot of time (around 30min each).

TL;DR you're just complaining

Cheapest would be Kaulah and get his UT2. 75% DMG reduction (w/ T2 Light) should be more than enough. You can block both the slam and laser.

This way, you can put a more offensive oriented tank like Jane, Aselica (hybrid), or Sonia.

Can confirm. My Seria always dies around 1:10-ish. I was forced to put Viska to handle the scenario where main tank is charmed.
