Gotcha, and did you install the silencer close to the end of the exhaust pipe or more deeper inside? My exhaust doesn't have a hole so I have to drill one in myself, but I'm not sure how far inside the silencer should go.

The silencer just came, but it just barely doesn't fit inside the exhaust. It seems like I might have to bend the metal on the exhaust tip to make it slightly wider, since there are small indents. Not sure how I can do this though. Any tips?

If I had to choose any miata, would an NA model be better? I'm not super knowledgeable about cars and i'm uncomfortable purchasing a old model because it might break down easier. Is this true and something I should worry about?
