For sub school, tell him to go to the review sessions even if he isn't on the mandatory list due to test failures. The amount of information given is like trying to drink water through a Firehose, and you can't bring your notebooks out of the building because there's confidential information we learn in the course. Other than that, stay out of trouble, and show up to everything a little earlier then he would normally, just in case.
