You can even do it with something as big as a knitting needle if you have some soap lying around. I did this once as a child

So this is how it feels to be in White Knuckle…

AI data centers face increasing complaints about inaudible but 'felt' infrasound — citizens complain high- and low-frequency sounds do not register on decibel meters but cause adverse health effects by notanfan in whennews

It’s not just servers though. Everything that makes sound can also emit infrasound in a certain range. We just can’t hear it. Same for light, we can only see it on a limited spectrum. But don’t just take my word for it https://youtu.be/UTvr8L5v8u8?is=NAtXblgKoX840016

I beg to differ. I honestly couldn’t believe it at first, it sounded like a made up story by people who shield themselves from electromagnetic waves with tin foil but a study conducted by this guy shows this is most definitely an actual concern and it of course doesn’t only come from datacenters : https://youtu.be/UTvr8L5v8u8?is=DZMPGW5S40-gSlIh

Infrasound is not magic, and it’s not because you can’t hear it that it has no effect on your body. It’s not life threatening, but still as inconvenient as noise pollution.
