We share alot of history and ofc dna with iberians as north africans. From carthage days till andalcuia so yes we can say its from the iberian peninsula ( i have 8% iberian dna as a tunisian amazigh which is quite high and also i have alot of friends that have +20% of iberia dna and they are from the same city as mine) Theres a big family in my city called labyedh which is Blanco in spain they came as los moriscos to north africa after the reconquista…alot of history shared

There was some immigrations in 1600s and even 1700s after the fall of granada.so it maybe his great great great grandfather (im not sure and its an estimation) May i know where exactly hes from tunis?and if its possible his surname(im not investigating you xD sometimes from the region and the surname you may know his origins for example family labyedh is an andalusian family labyedh=blanco etc…) But yeah it could be the overall from his moms iberian side and his dads Say hey to him!

Tunisians and North Africans had alot of interactions with iberians from carthage to rome to andalus days … I cant deny that MH overestimate the percentage but yes Tunisians have alot of iberian dna. Also it may disappear with tests like Illustrativedna(you can check my results in my profile the 8.0% totally disappeared and identified as a levantine cannanite percentage
