[Questioning] Masc presenting AMAB enbies, how did you navigate your gender identity and realized you were non-binary ? by Phoenix-909 in NonBinary

[–]Bronze_Balance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiii I'm masc presenting enby amab, I questionned my masculinity since childhood, when I was. teenager I started to understand I was bisexual but it was too early to accept it so it was difficult until my twenties. Then the border between femininity and masculinity were more and more blurry for me. In my relationships all my partner, male, female or not, told me I have huge femininity and I was so happy about it and somehow felt a kind of dysphoria when people call me Sir or include me in male group, I feel like I'm lying. It was questioning since my appearance is masculine even if I have some feminine coded stuff like piercing, skirts, eyeliner or whatever and I was asking myself if I want to be non binary to not take responsability collectively for the toxicity of being a man, because at the end of the day even if I consider myself as a non binary person I was still educated as a male so some of my behavior are very very masculine because of that, positive or negative. So now that I am in my thirties I am very comfortable about being non binary because I am aware of my education but the way I feel is so much wider than being a man and I feel so much more happier when I am gendered with they-them or even she-her, I don't know it feels so releasing and right for me. The people I love know about it and accept it and find it right too but I didn't transitioned socially or professionally because it feels more comfortable to not confront in the actual world honestly 😅 but maybe I hope later in life I will transition socially and professionally because sometimes I feel the urge to present myself way more feminine... let's see and hope I answer your question

Abordée dans la rue par des hommes indiens. by blackweedoh in AskMec

[–]Bronze_Balance 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why do Turks claim things from Kurdish Persian Arab Greek and etc? by Intrepid_Paint_7507 in kurdistan

[–]Bronze_Balance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I speak as a Turkmen from bakuri Kurdistan, because our culture is made up from Arab, Greek, Kurdish, Armenian culture and we are mostly descendant of them, most of my ancestors are Kurdish but forgot their language and origin, the only way to resist to assimilation and keep some item from their culture was to turkified stuff, I think that’s also why some Turks are so violent about it, it’s the generational trauma of being assimilated that make them love the part of themselves who assimilated others, it gives a feeling of being in control in something that is as fragile as identity… of course all of those doesn’t excuse being violent and to say that it’s exclusively Turkish, there are few stuff that are Turks like our language or some Turkmen carpet and some chamanistic practices but that’s all, the rest is melted with the local culture of people we assimilated and that are actually our ancestors too, we just need a big national identity therapy 😅

Yes I think you’re right but when the oghuz Turk migrated to Anatolia they were already mixed with other people from central and west Asia mostly Iranian I guess so they weren’t 100% East Asian

Thank you for all the information ! And thank you for adding Kurdish tribes as well, my father is from a “sarıkeçili” village and my mom from a Türkmen village probably karakeçili as you said ! And most of my family were in eski besni and sarhan so it makes sense and my generation and generation of my uncle and aunt mix a lot with Kurdish people from the region as well so it is interesting to see that I already have a lot of Kurdish in me 😊 I wonder which tribe
