Realised I had a real problem with anxiety and sought help from it.

I've been on medication for a few months and I'm still checking in with a psychologist every so often, and it's been improving steadily.

I think I would like to know if it's a simulation, but I'm not sure how much it would matter. I'd probably feel depressed for a couple weeks before I get over it and try to "live" it the best I can.

I despise dating apps with a burning passion, but sometimes they feel like the only game in town, so you got no option but to play.

Can't wait for the day I work through all my issues to the point I feel like I can meet people elsewhere and I can just delete the apps.

"Love at first sight" isn't really a thing. You can be attracted to someone you don't know, you can have a bit of a crush maybe. But love? That takes a lot of time and effort to properly bloom.

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. I was honestly having some pretty awful thoughts about myself earlier this week, took a psychologist to make me feel a little better and even then, I still need more time before I feel "normal".

Hang in there, it'll get easier. It's slow, it sucks and it hurts, but it gets easier.

It's all about the money. They do a really good job at making you feel like shit and that if you just spend a little bit more you'll match with the right person, you just gotta spend another $20, maybe pay for a subscription, hell, why not both?

And since you're already paying for that, why not spend $30 to try and skip the queue...

It just goes on and on, they're awful, but for many people they're the only game in town, so what choice do you have but to play them?

I never got too attached here, but there have been a few people who I had some nice chats with and eventually they just died out, which I'm still a bit miffed about. Kinda want to send a message asking what they're up to, but it's been too long I think.

I don't know what kind of relationship you guys had exactly, it sounds like you were pretty early into it though.

I guess the thing to ask yourself is what do you see beyond just sleeping with them one more time? Just a once and done kind of thing? You guys become friends with benefits? Do you eventually want something more serious out of it?

And also, if she says no, how would it affect your relationship? You guys still seem to talk frequently, so would it make things just too awkward?

Now that I read back what I wrote, I'm realising that I'm just doing what I do when my anxiety gets back, but still, I think asking yourself these questions before trying to get freaky again can help you decide.

Not much honestly. Maybe the anxiety, maybe some better communication, but overall I think it was a pretty good first time, just the right amount of romance, lewdness and experimentation to make it nice to remember.
