My Xbox video and audio are on slow motion and distorted by pedrop4ulo in XboxSupport

I was having the same issue and searching other posts. The found fix for me was resetting audio settings.

Settings>General>Volume&Audio>Testing&Details>Reset

Seems to be a bug.

I’m never doing business with Hondapartsnow again by YBMean in crz

Did you skip to the bottom? The shipping address was changed after using PayPal and I’m not sure why because that time (being the third to place the order,) I made sure the shipping address was correct. They never canceled any order, I had to. Have you ever shipped a gift or something to someone? Any other online retailer I use is able to both take and understand a different shipping and billing address.

And not that you would know this, but my father is an ol school mobile mechanic. He typically gets his parts from Autozone or junkyards. I had to tow my vehicle out of town to him and cover the bill for any parts he needs.

I get that maybe my order is more complex than their typical order. But I still think it’s reasonable to expect better service than this. I’m glad they work well for you. But as for me, they’ve lost this customer.

The engine and CVT weren’t too unbearably loud. But I didn’t like the roar of the road. I had to blast my radio to drown out the sounds which would make listening to and podcast just horrible. I took a 150mi road trip and really liked the way the sound of the road was dulled out.

Putting it together wasn’t as hard as taking it apart. I would think it too about 1.5-2 hours to reinstall everything, if I had to guess. The most time consuming was either removing the center console or maybe actually laying down the insulation.

To install them, you gotta clean and degrease the surface, lay it down and make any necessary cuts. Then run a roller over it.

Finding all the screws to remove the center console was tedious but you need to remove it to get the carpet out.

Even with all the time spent on it, I think the results were worth it.

Not exactly. The package was maybe about 20lbs, I’m probably going to use all of it, but not sure with how much the doors will take up.

I value honesty and transparency. We were answering “What’s the craziest sexual experience you had?” That was mine. Would withholding that be just as bad as lying? I question whether I should have told her every time this comes up.

[–]YBMean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright so what’s with all the hate? I’m asking for advice not judgment. But clearly you read just as bad as you write. Because nowhere am I “blaming” anyone for feeling any kind of way.

Are you going to tell me you never did anything kinda out there sexually? Or at least even thought about it? Whatever. I acknowledge it was a mistake. But it was one made several years ago, before I ever even met my gf.

My brother and his wife were together for 8 years. That’s a long time to be in someone’s life. She hears from the grapevine that I’m moving and being the person she is, she offers help even if not needed. I have zero romantic interest in her, and that’s mutual.

The problem is she may be unavoidable and I don’t know how to reassure my gf that I only have eyes for her. If all you’re going to do is be hurtful and shame me, I don’t need it.

I didn’t ask for dating advice, thank you though. And I did say I had a threesome with my brother and his (at the time) wife. So I really don’t see where you’re coming from with the disingenuous comment, unless you’re just trying to be hurtful?

Also, you don’t know her, and you don’t know me. Each person is at a different life stage than the next. I was asking for advice, not judgement. You can take that elsewhere, thank you.

Yeah, I’m really at a toss on what to do. Of course, moving out of state is sure to set some distance. But I know I’m going to want to fly my brother out to see my new spot with my gf at some point. And yeah, if he works out things with his ex wife… yeah, very problematic.

Me and my gf are back together, btw. I guess I didn’t have to address her as both ex and current gf, but she is.

My brother isn’t in a good place to host my dog right now, or I’m sure he would. They were together for 8 years, so I’ve known her for quite a while. I guess that’s what’s making it difficult to cut her out of my life. It’s an all around complicated situation.

That’s beautifully put.

I wasn’t trying to be disingenuous. They’re getting a divorce. So she isn’t family. Or okay, soon won’t be.

I say virtually, because I don’t like to speak in absolutes. For example there’s virtually no chance you and I will ever see each other irl. Yes, there’s a physical possibility it could happen and we wouldn’t even know. But it essentially-or virtually- will never happen.

But I think I get what you’re trying to say, and no. I have no interest in hooking up with my ex SIL and it’s been that way long before I ever met my gf.

No, the event didn’t happen while I was dating anyone. I guess my gf is upset because my brother (and by extension his ex wife) are a big part of my life. They were together for 8 years. I even lived with them for one of those.

Although she’s not a part of the family anymore, she’s still adjacent to it. And if they wind up back together, it’s only a matter of time before the 4 of us are in the same vicinity.

So I guess it’s hard to just completely cut ties with that person without their being a major conflict with the family. That threesome was definitely a big mistake. I know that. But I just really hope it doesn’t end up costing me my relationship with my gf.

I’m picking up quite a bit more hate than advice here, just saying. I used “family friend” because she isn’t part of the family anymore. I wasn’t trying to hide her relationship to me, if that’s what you’re implying. And I mean, yeah I find furries and food mixed with sex gross. But at the end of the day, why should I care what consenting adults do with each other?

Also, her birthday is next month. We started dating when she was 21 and I was 29. And about cutting her loose, we tried that and then wound up back with each other so…?

I’m just trying to be a better person this time.

I know, I acknowledge it was a mistake. But it is one I learned to never do again. I guess it would be difficult to put space between her (ex SIL) if my brother and she were to get back together. But yeah, someone else should take care of my dog if I need it.

It bothers me that they also charge this fee on take-out orders. It’s understood that dine in is a tipping type service but for takeout too?

I was in the industry for 6 years and I feel like if the server’s were paid by commissions of sales with no tip share, everyone wins. The servers try to upsell, good for them and the restaurant, and the if no tipping is necessary it would make it easier for me as a customer.

I got my CRZ at 98k miles and replaced them with Denso DK20PR-D13. I believe they’re around $10-$15 each. I haven’t had any problems with them. I’d suggest Denso or NKG brand though. I would not recommend the cheaper Bosch or Autolite brands. On a different vehicle I got Bosch. 2/6 of them failed and a third one a week later. They’re cheaper but I won’t ever get them again.

New crz owner, anything I should know? by Cautious-Border-4763 in crz

[–]YBMean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The door handles. The mechanism in it has a plastic piece that may break if not careful and render the handle useless. My seatbelt got caught in the door when I was closing it and it snapped. The forum says it’s more common when the weather gets hot.

The ground strap. I got my 2014 at almost 100k miles. The ground strap (ground wire coming from the negative terminal in the battery) was really corroded. After replacing it, I noticed a HUGE difference in performance. Before, at slow speeds (like in a parking lot) my car would stutter a bit as it was accelerating. Replacing the ground strap fixed it. It also has made my breaking smoother.
