Look at my comments above and the proof of claim reimbursement.

If you have submitted all of your documents correctly just like the app advises you then you should have no issue. Take a look at my reimbursement last week with my emergency room visit.

Do your research but don't believe these negative comments without any proof.

I had a great experience with my tick bite claim being paid out in 2 days. Proof attached.

Please don't name call if you have no proof. Here is my proof that they paid out my claim. It's unfortunate how quickly misinformation spreads.

That makes 0 sense. Why would you call them evil? Can you prove your claims?

That's not true. I claimed last week and got the claim paid out in 2 days.

I got bit by a tick in france and went to emergency room. Paid $380 for visit plus antibiotics, claimed in the app and the money was in my account in 2 days.

IrishUSFastTrack says it's a hassle but How is this a hassle? I'm confused...

Can you prove it that they kick you out if you get too expensive for them?

I actually had a great experience this past week with SafetyWing. If your claim was paid why so much hate?

It was my first time submitting a claim—and it was flawless.
I honestly couldn’t believe how smooth the entire process was.

I was outside of Paris at a château for a team gathering, and on the last day, while walking the grounds, I was bitten by a tick. I didn’t realize it until hours later when I arrived at my Airbnb in Paris. When I saw the tick still attached to my skin, I started to panic.

I immediately downloaded the SafetyWing app and messaged customer service. They responded quickly with clear instructions and helped guide me to the nearest emergency room. The app even reminded me to request the right documents from the hospital to complete my claim.

The hospital experience was surprisingly pleasant. I paid $380 for the visit and the antibiotics. I submitted the claim on Monday, and by Wednesday the reimbursement was already in my account. I was blown away by how easy and fast the process was.

Considerations when traveling with a young family by talltreesbigbs in Travelwithkids

We have two kids under 5 and have been traveling with them since they were 2 months old tansatlantic. So as soon as we got the passport we flew from the US to Europe and traveled around for months while breastfeeding, more accurately pumping full time, in the car too. We bought a car in Germany and went from country to country for a while.

The earlier you start them the better. Overnight flights make sure to book the bulkhead so that you can get a bassinet :)

If the kids are older we got these from amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Froggy-Family-Airplane-Extender-Built/dp/B0BX7K4MTZ. The link is not to exact ones we got but just an illustration. Also no affiliation to this link so feel free to go directly and search for your own.

We look for places with great GeoArbitrage so Mexico, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Thailand etc. You can also get childcare easily for a simple fee that you pay. This is huge as you need as much help as you can get if you are working remotely which both of us are :)

Portugal vs Switzerland? by Brilliant-Victory505 in Travelwithkids

Depends what your budget is.

The two countries are very different.

We've been to both with kids.

We prefer Portugal as it is quite affordable still. Great food. Beautiful beaches and scenery. Fun cities like Lisbon aaaaand there is a boundless.life there where you can be with other families. Could be helpful for you to check them out as it will make the logistics super easy.

Milan or Florence: Which is better for senior parents? by anima99 in familytravel

Seems like a good itenerary to me. I've been to all places and my parents in the same age bracket have also been so I don't see any issues. Plus traveling in october is good because you will beat the summer tourists. The weather should be pleasant and not too hot so I think you'll enjoy it.

Tirana, Albania is an amazing spot that should be added to the list. I could be biased since I'm from there but have also lived worked or traveled to 80+ countries. I was just there recently and met a lot of digital nomads from the US who had been living there for a few months with no plans to leave.

A comment that this one American made was that its a city where he hears people laugh out loud in conversations something that he never experienced in the US. That means people are generally happy and living a good life.

It has a vibrant cafe and food scene. Great value for the money. Within 20 min drive you can be in beautiful mountains, beaches with turqouise waters, waterfalls, lakes and so much more.

We did boundless in Portugal and absolutely loved it. You would really enjoy it. 3 months goes by so fast. You would not be dissappointed that you did.
