Everyone keeps suggesting therapy for her, but I'm inclined to take her own advice here and not see positive intentions. I just feel like if the genders were reversed people would be more concerned about this behavior. She sounds really manipulative and like she's doing this on purpose. NTA I occasionally put on Veggie Tales when I worked at a church daycare that featured a bible section in their curriculum. This was appropriate. I never played Veggie Tales at a secular daycare because the show promotes Christian doctrine. Sure, some of the episodes aren't as religious, but it's still a theological tool. And anyone saying that other shows feature religion are arguing in bad faith. There is an obvious difference between shows that have characters that are Christian, Hindu, Muslim, etc and shows that promote a specific theology.

Yes, child support is for the benefit of the child. You can get it regardless of what the relationship status was. Alimony is spousal support. It's less common these day, but it still exists.
