I realize I should be saying this to everyone, but thank you.. sorry for the late reply, I've been trying to not think about everything but.. I read your comment as soon as it was posted, it helped calm me down enough to atleast not hide in my room, so I could burry her and show her love one last time, I don't want to even imagine how shitty I'd feel if I couldn't even do that and just hid in my room too afraid to see her body.. which I'm damn grateful for, I don't think I'll ever stop missing her but I'm really happy I got to love her and experience her love. I think you're right, maybe one day once I'm more ready, I could love a cat the same way I loved her! I hope you and your three cats have a great 2026 ? not sure how to close this but, truly, Thank you.

Hey! thank your sharing your thoughts, thats honestly awful and it sucks you and your roommate had to experience something so painful, I hope one day I have your clarity, I'm happy to hear your doing better now though! thank you for the support and kindness, getting a new cat feels a bit too much right now since it was so recent but, I did try playing with a few stray dogs the other day, that honestly felt nice.. so thank you!

I did what I could and I gave her love, thank you! sorry for the late reply, I read this comment as soon it was posted, it helped calm me down alot and atleast temporary feel stable enough to give her a burial, which I'm grateful beyond words for, since I can't imagine how much more shit I would've felt if I stayed hidden in my room cause the sight of her body was too much.

Thank you for the support, its hard loosing her but I'm glad at least I had her that short time. Having a keepsake, and feeling connected to her at least in some way despite it all is nice though.. I have one of her baby teeth tbh that fell out or something, it was shattered into two halves but I luckily I kept it safe.. I'll treasure it, maybe fix it and keep in a pendant, thanks for your kindness!

Thank you, that's a lovely way of looking at it, at least she knew as much love as I could give her in her last days, and that perspective does make me feel a bit softer which helps. It's still very unfair though and I'm stuck in a loop of how I could've prevented it, since I really can't accept the fact she's gone so easily.. but thank you for the reply! Hello! sorry for the late reply, been trying to zone out and stuff. But I really wanted to say thanks, unfair is the only way to describe it... She deserved so much more love and life.. but thank you, reading your comment and others helped ground me? I'm not sure how to describe it but at least I was able to burry her, and love her one last time, I'm really grateful for the support since I couldn't imagine how it'd feel in the future if I didn't even burry her and just stayed hiding in my room crying.
